Just pay 10k more for reverse camera and sensors at Honda showroom while buying this car....Not a big deal man! This car is amazing to drive and a eyecatcher too!
BRV is the best 7 seater availablr at present. its performance is class apart. people who are commenting negative about it may have not tested BRV . just bcaz of mobilio most of the people are commenting. bRV is too good. i am simply in love with this Honda machine that too diesel. i am sure petrol will be world class as its already proven. its most ptactical with space. ertiga is name sake 7 seater i dont know why ppl consider it against BRV. its class apart.....go for BRV witout hesitations
Now the BRV makes lot more sense with reverse parking camera and sensor and 7 inch touch infotainment system coming factory fitted, and during the festival offer honda fest, BRV VX MT is cheaper than Hyundai Creta SX+ by 1.5 lakhs and with this addition has same features. Plus you get a reliable honda with 7 seats or 690 lt boot when 3rd row folded (which i prefer). Ur opinion?
Should I buy honda brv? Will it be discontinued? If yes, then should I buy? I personally like the car, but sceptical about it's future and parts of it is discontinued. Please advise.
Honda engine are always best and it looks great from front. I think 3rd row is not needed. This car has hugeeee space. Definitely good for long distance travel with big boot space as well.
i have booked V diesel version BR-V. its really good & practical car. all features are good & specially safety features as standard. there is hardly anything in the market with 7 seaters. feature of multi infotainment system with rear camera well i am getting that done from the market as its not that expensive at all as compare to the on road cost difference with other cars.
which compact suv Diesel is best to drive if u look at only from driving perspective and not passenger comfort, 90 percent usage will be single passenger(the driver) max occupants in the car will be 3 to 4 passengers for highway runs(including driver).FORD ECOSPORT,HYUNDAI CRETA,HONDA BRV OR RENAULT DUSTER?nvh inside and outside at bare minimum is too on priority list.
It's no where near to creta or duster, as engine and skeleton suggests of BRV is derived from brio its well suited between brezza and eco sport , ..but over all a nice package with CVT and paddle shifter it gain more customers then any other mpv around..
gud job looks gud enough esply frm the front and is easily more practical then the creta and duster though they should equip it with the feature of the city like rear camera touch screen cruise control and othe du dads...overall a great effort leaning more towards practicality + reliability
On the basis of all facts & figures Honda Brv is proved a smart SUV. Others like creta, duster, S Crass are compact SUVs but not as smart as BRv. It is also a matter of fact that BRv has discontinued but others are still in the showrooms and few are selling like hot cakes. Definitely brv did not pack with touch screen, reverse camera (R cam) in the beginning and added later, but these are not the whole things. Brv is having 2 seats extra which is more useful than touch screen & R cam. Touch screen & reverse camera can be implanted from out side but 2 extra seats can not be implanted. Other SUV designers mostly concentrated on one seat (driver's seat) only but designers of brv are concentrated on all seats. Friends, there are no any universally accepted definition of SUVs. Different experts, diff. Peoples, different nations are having their own definitions . Brv maximally fits on variety of definitions of SUVs. Honda tried to give a smart useful 7 seater SUV in price of existing 5 seater SUVs. Despite of having lots of useful qualities BRV failed to attract majority of indian people , reasons are multiple, may be Weak marketing, lack of awareness in customers, destiny related factor etc. There is needless uproar of offroading in the market. In india only 1 to 2 % people go for offroading. They also not go for it very often. Peoples are very busy in their onroad works. They travel point to point and also wishes to travel on smooth plane roads. So, for indian peoples (except forest and army officials) needless to search for 4WD . Front wheel derive ( FWD) vehicle is most sufficient for them. Brv, creat, duster (except few models), S cross all are FWD. Brv is a stylish, stable, powerful, comfortable, spacious, mileage frugal & peppy smart SUV. If we look for a little comparison between BRV, Creta, Duster, S Cross then we can see the Brv is the most qualified SUV over others. A) Ground clearance - Brv 210mm, creta 190mm, duster 205mm, S cross 180 mm. B) Tyre size - 16 inch for all. C) CC - nearly 1.5 for all with few minor differences D) Average (petrol) - between 15 l. to 18 l. for all E) Kerb wt. - between 1100 kg to 1300 kg for all So dear friends, Conclusively a vehicle ( BR V) having 210mm ground clearance (maximum in segment), very bold & stylish look, carrying 7 persons comfortably, 16 inches tyre, peppy engine (smooth ivtec) and very stable on roads can be surely called as a smart SUV. Initially Brv was lacking in few features ( touch & R cam) so creta & duster are also lacking in ground clearance & 2 extra seats. Extra seats and ground clearance are much more important than touch & R cam . Touch & R cam can be externally implanted. BRV , Creta definitely not having 4WD but who needs for 4WD , not 98 % of peoples and rest 2 % also don't use 4WD frequently.
honestly i respect Honda alot back then when they have Honda city and CR-V which was a dream car , very neat and classy..they have taken the competition way took extreme and desperate giving all cheap and ugly scope less car couple with under power engine.
Honda, I want the Civic Back in India. Please! Lets hope it gets better market share than the Mobilio but personally I would prefer a Compact SUV instead of an MPV like look. +It might sell more for commercial use as the New Innova is getting a 2 lakh price hike.
Tiago is best car in his segments .. All about 1. Fit n Finish 2. Plastic Build Quality 3. Features 4. Performance 5. Space 6. Economy etc. Go Thorough It
What has happened to Honda in the compact segments? The design segment has a taken a big fall. Also, what is it with Honda making only cheap cars for the Indian market? Where is the Civic and Accord?
+Srikant Vijay Kumar cos cars from these companies are not selling at the price point of luxury cars, like kisashi by suzuki, no one wants to buy a luxure car from honda, maruti, toyota etc... for the same price if you get a bmw or merc, thats more prefered even if the other car is better
teezzay I get what you are saying. But look at the new Suzuki Baleno and the Brezza, they are still cheap but they look way better and have a decent amount of engine and features. The kizashi was just a gamble in the Indian market. I'm just disappointed in Honda for not making good looking cars anymore. But yes, I understand what you are saying about the choice of the society these days
Dear Honda, remove third row, add a parcel tray, add GPS navigation, make the tire profile just a little larger (while keeping these 16" rims), stop being a stingy b***h and bore out the 1.5L iDTEC back to its 1.6L block for more power and at least 220 Nm of torque, and then maybe you will have a Creta/Duster competitor. This car is more of a Mobilio-Cross.
Autocar guys plez help me out. I'm confused between vitara brezza and Honda brv. I'm looking for a car which is good with pickup when it is loaded. and I need a sporty feel.
In indonesia brv its so standard We don't get Push start stop button Climate control Back seat hand rest And we just got brio steering wheel -_- Am so jealous with indian people hehehe Thanks hunda
Come on honda even Reno kwid has a touch screen infotainment system surely you could've provided a camera and touch screen. i bet alot of people liked this car and this is going to be a breaking decision for them...
Debajit B Its a popular Indian belief that Japanese are honest Or else why would even educated people in Indian cities buy such shits rather than well built and honest European and MAerican cars
Everything is okay bt y d hell honda dnt gv ny cabin airfilter in its car specially diesel ones like amaze jazz etc resulting of which d evap coil gets clogged every summer n u hv to pay 7000₹ at asc !
no touch screen ? what's with Honda , even maruthi s providing touch screen info system for hatchbacks , if this continues Honda s end s near .. no features at all
This looks like Mobilio with high heels on. Well, they cant do anything better anyways eh? The platform is only so much wide. It simply does not have an SUV appeal, as we all know, merely high ground clearance and 3rd row does not qualify for an SUV. The Xylo has those same attributes, in better measure and a more powerful engine as well! The height/width/length ratio is all too wrong. Even the wheel arches hardly have any space for suspension travel with full load unlike.the Duster or Storme or even the Scorpio. I am pretty sure its occupants will be all over the place on bad roads, although the vehicle itself may clear the road imperfections. And that engine will struggle with 7 occupants, petrol or diesel. 200nm torque simply doesnt cut it for more than 5 adults.
Honda BRV is a great practical car. Sadly it's underestimated and undervalued with a preconceived notions that it looks MPVish. How can you expect them to style and look like Creta or Ecosport - BRV thus being a 7 Seater? And you want a beefy SUV or 7 Seaters - then buy a CRV or even Innova and pay 10 lakhs more. I work in Automotive sector and I'm amazed to see such a great car offered at such price. See how Toyota priced up their Innova! I'm sure, if you want to travel in style with your family comfortably then Honda BRV is the best option. Sadly 7 Seater cars from Tata and Mahindra - even the newly launched Marazoo will find it's way to the Taxi or Cab segments. I really hate the fact that - buying a taxi segment car and parking in front of your house and then people mistake your car for a cab! I feel BRV is unique in its own platform. Compared to many cars on the Indian market- it is not such a bad car. Styling is subjective. I have seen moded BRVs- that just look WOW! Please folks - Stop cribing and see the practicality of this car. Every other wishes could be easily brought as accessories.
with the launch of Marazzo, do you think its still relevant to buy BR-V? BR-V now looks kind of old. Also very true that I'll hate to park a 'cab' car in front of my house.
@@chandlerbing8531 sure. BR-V looks a little old. But I think a better car in that price range with 7 seats. It gives you a car like driving experience with easily city driveability. I personally like the styling and is never too old for me.
I carried test drive and following comments Poor interiors, no touchscreen is a shocker, and CVT no lather seats. If Honda improve in model 2017 much appreciated.
