You can still replace the broken shell for your key and what I did was take out the little magnet chip and glue it to the side of the new shell so the car would start.

Do Valet keys have to be programmed? I asked Honda for prices on FOB keys and Valet keys. The prices were different for each key, but both had to be programmed for $80 they said.

What year is your Accord?? Mine is a 2011 and I don’t see the chip on the side. My 2007 Honda I remember had the chip on the side.

Wife lost main key, i still have my vallet key. But i heard i can unlock the car but alarm will go off. Is that true? Problem is shes at families 3 hrs away.
