I bought that exact same bike brand new almost to the day 40 yrs ago cost me $3700 au......had to put a fork brace on as it wobbled at 100kph straight out of the bike shop 😮🇦🇺🇦🇺
New a guy with one of these around the same time. Bought an 81 GSX1100 for $4100 myself, did the same thing. Had to adjust suspension back to factory. Chose tyres that I used to run on Ducati, Pirelli Mt 28 on the front, not a ribbed tread and that seemed to fix it.
Beautiful bike, but my 900F only plays Beethoven when I open the choke, is that an after market theme song you installed? BTW, gorgeous paint and a very nicely tuned motor.
I am restoring a cb 900f 1981, and the batter does not charge with the medium light on. I have changed the alternator and the regulator and still nothing. can you help me ?????
If you changed the alternator (outer windings), and didn't change the alternator rotor (spinning part), then that's the problem. I had that problem a few decades ago.
a vehicle electrician should find any mistake on this bike. sometimes the dynamo inside the alternator has brocken wires. get a servicemanual and do measure the electrical wirings. maybe its only a brocken wiring harness next to the steering stem. you have to check any wire if its brocken.
