You guys produce some great videos i learned a lot from watching them. My question is my clutch seems to be grabbing almost all the way out. I have a 3/16 free play in the handel. Is the adjustment in the cable at the handel or do i need to adjust push rod. And then maybe handle. Thanks if you could help me out
Hi I got a CB500F 1975 and the clutch systems are the same. Ive recently changed to a lower handle bar and now the clutch is hard to pull in. Is it because the clutch cable is not 10 inch longer? Should I modify the cable or is there another way to make the clutch smoother to pull.
Hey I have a 1973/4 Honda cl450 scrambler and I’m trying to rebuild and I’m having a lot of problems with my clutch, I’m not sure if it’s the cable or if it’s the actual clutch, could you make a video going through it all
Great tutorial, I plan on doing this in a couple days. Will I need to remove the peg and/or header to take off the cover or will it slide right off after removing the four screws and gear shifter?
When you have the clutch lever pulled in all the way, how far out should it go to engage the clutch? Mine feels like it doesn't engage until almost all the way out.
hmm thats going to be a tough find alone. I'd check eBay or rice paddy. You'll probably need to purchase the whole spare clutch mechanism though to get that piece.
