@@CodgerBiker it does exactly what it looks like it’ll do. Can’t see mine ever falling off, as the mount is substantial. I also got their radiator protector and it fits perfectly. I’d purchase all 3 of these accessories again, as I think they are important.
I have the Pyramid rad guard too. Perfect fit 👌. I've had their screens in the past too, also very good. I fitted the fender extender straight away, so totally agree on all points. My only concern is the rear protector seems to rub on the tyre at speed and might wear away. But it certainly does the job. 👍👍
Hello Codg, After a summers use is this flap still doing the job ? Or has it worn out on the tyre ? I fitted the plastic pyramid hugger held on with a cable tie, and within just a few light off-roading jaunts it’s missing great big chunks.
It's Official - Codger Biker is flapping in the wind! I have to say as TMJ's go that was pretty poor. Firstly you RTFM'd ( Read The F***ing Manual) which is against all the rules of Blokeism. Secondly you did not have DrJ with you to discuss the job, disagree, fall out, make up & drink tea. Thirdly you applied logic in not over tightening the bolts, using threadlock, trial fitting and not dropping the bolts and washers on the floor 10 times before finally getting it in the hole. Sorry Codger but as a TMJ that will not do. However, I think you have invented a new category of a TSJ - Ten Second Job where the manual is read beforehand and everything goes to plan. That's OK once in a while but for a proper TMJ please show some commitment and mess it up properly!
Ha ha! Well the best way to change a ten minute job into a ten second job is editting! I did try to put it on the wrong way round, then the bolts didn't want to go in, then I couldn't find my glasses (on my head), but occasionally I like to 'appear' professional. 👍👍😉🤣
