Bike is a 2002 honda cb600f hornet with a danmoto slip-on. The bike is currently running at somewhere around 35kw. No traffic laws were broken in this video.
Damn, this bike is beautiful. Always been a fan of the CB’s. Started on a on e-storm, currently have a CBX250, was thinking about the CB400 super four, but wreckon I’ll go straight to this!
Btw amazing bike and riding. Im saving up for a honda hornet for my a2 license in 1.5 years. Im currently riding a honda cbf125 with a danmoto exhaust as well!
Is it 35kw or is it stock I have now stock(70kw) but i need to close it up on 35kw because of a driveing licence 😑 Is difference in rideing? Thanks...nice video👍🏼❤
In the video its actually a little over 40kw or something like that. U notice the difference only around 6k rpm and up. On 35kw the power delivery is very linear.
Hi! I’ve got a 35 Kw restricted hornet too. I’d like to know if it pops or not because mine has a roadsitalia and it doesn’t pops too much but in other videos it’s amazing. Thank you and nice video!
@@crisaneduardhippo7744 oh ok! I'm gonna buy one myself next month and wanted to see if I can tame it a bit cause 100 hp is a lot for a beginner rider...I'm probably gonna die on it but we're all dead anyway, right?😂
@@dimitriskatsoulis4986 haha mentally yes😹😹 now I saw in the comments other explanation for the restrict but mine was limited from the throttle, maybe there are more ways, and I meant A2 license*
@@crisaneduardhippo7744 i know most bikes are restricted from the throttle but mine for some reason is restricted from the carburetors. I would recommend restricting it from the throttle because thats probably cheaper and easier to remove by yourself.
Was schaffst du gedrosselt spitze?
Is it worth getting a 600 as 35kW since most the power is in the high rev's and you're not getting there? Is it noticeable that I should better look for something with more power in the lower end?
@@isacschauman254 but what kind of restrictor use your bike? Does it limit the max throtle openning or limits the intake air with 4 washers in the intake manifold?
So it is 70kw from the factory but 35kw restricted. There are four metal washers that go between the carburetors and the engine intake so the air/fuel mixture flow is limited, therefore only making 35kw.
Well mine is 1st generation and it has 70kw on paper and therefore it can be restricted to 35kw. The second gen hornet (2003-2004) probably has a little over 70kw and because of that it can only be restricted to 25kw.
@@tevztursic5149 the Tank lasts about 210 km till reserve with a fuel consumtion of around 5.5 l. I Usually refule at around 180 km. if you push the bike more it consumes about 6.3 l. But mine is currently running at 35 Kw so your milage may vary.
its listed at 226 km/h top speed un restricket ofc .. makes no sense to even allow this for an A1 driver with a top speed of 180 RESTRICTED .. kinda insane
@@Ladosligese i recently removed the restrictions and when i tested the top speed it got up to 200km/h pretty easily but after that nothing teally happened. 210km/h is probably possible but i dont think my bike can go any faster than that.
In austria you get your motocycle licence at 18 but you are only allowed to have 48 hp. After two years you can upgrade too unlimited power. Many new riders overestimated their skills and died within their first weeks of riding, so this system makes kinda sense.
