Today my mechanic opened it, cleaned it with spray and reinstalled it. He didn't calibrate it with this scanner. Now my Honda City is behaving weirdly. Upon starting and putting into 1st gear, without giving acceleration it starts and run at 18kmph speed, at 2nd it automatically goes at 23kmph speed and on 3rd gear it goes at 30kmph speed without any acceleration. My car is manual. Mechanic said that it'll be fine in a day or two. Will it be fine automatically?

Most of mechanics dont even reset the throttlebody after cleaning...and in Honda, few do reset it after cleaning but they miss learning of new value...Particularly in Honda, you need to reset the throttle and then keep it start at Idle with all accessories, lights etc off for about 10 minutes, only then throttle learning is completed....in this video, dear brother just reset the throttle but did not tell that learning process is needed to be started....your mechanic, on the basis of his experience told you that it will get ok in day or two....the car computer itself keeps on learning, if you dont do it yourself like I said put the car in idle for about 10 minutes with no electrical loads ON.......in learning while routine run, computer often endup with erroneous values as it keeps on calculating throttle idle value and not catering that various loads are ON, takes longer time and driver has to suffer with driveability issues like you mention and fuel as well

Bhai ap muje honda civic 99 exi manual ki throtle body ko reset krne ka bta dein. ma ne Throtle body clean ki thi aur ab RPM high low khudi ho jaty hain.

99 EXI manual mein, electronic throttle nahein hoti merey khayal mein...aur uss mein reset ki zaroorat nahein hoti, aap ney uska IAC valve ko disturnb kar diya ho ga..kissi mechanic se adjust kara lein

Sir mere pas daihatsu move 2014 model hai us ka Rpm issue hai jub Ac on krta hu gari vibrate krty hai aur Ac on off hu jata hai mainy compresser b chnge krva lia hai lekin still masla woi hai.kindly bta de is ka kia masl hu skta hi engine gari ka bilkul ok hai.

Diesel engine kiun select kia? Scanner ki koi zarurat nhin hoti.. Battery terminal remove kar ke 2 minute baad dobara laga dein, automatically calibration ho jaey gi
