Faisal, if you go Malaysia or Japan or Vietnam, try putting your hands on the Honda 'CIVIC FD2 TYPE R' This particular model, if it's well taken care of, you'll forget all the Vtecs you've ever drove till date. That Civic FD2 TYPE R is limited to a few countries. It's insane and absolutely thrusts the car as if it has a rocket launcher to it. It's NATURALLY ASPIRATED VTEC with 'R DNA' ❤️

I have never ever seen Faizy so much excited while driving any of the card he has reviewed so far. I can imagine what it feels to be there in an Type 2 Honda VTec. I have 1999 model Type 2 Honda 1.3 and it's still serving me well even after 197000 kms. Stock engine, original clutch and still every thing original about it. While I am typing this, tears of joy is running down my cheeks. My baby she even now redlines at 7500 rpm. 1st gear 60, 2nd gear 105. I just can't imagine how you felt on the VTec. Honda, why don't you make cars like that anymore. The car manufacturers are making performance machines but at huge price tag and definitely at the cost of reliability. Keep reviewing like this Faizy and God bless.

This car has personally a lot of nostalgic value. 🥲 My dad had one, bought new back in 2002 and had for almost a decade. Also deserves a special mention because this particular model with the manual transmission is where I learnt the ABCs of driving too.

The D15 isn't the best VTEC from Honda especially compared to B16, B18, K20 etc but VTEC is VTEC and it's still better than non-Honda engines

I have a garage just near where I live and he owns this V-tec Honda City (mint condition). He always brings it on Sunday evenings to the garage, gives it a good wash and then wheel spins all the way and leaves. Man can't believe this is what Honda gave us in 2000's 🤤
