My man! This is THE BEST step by step videos I ever seen. All other videos I seen skip steps and don't explain the important stuff. I really think that there is someone behind camera explaining to them what to do and they edited off. This one is on point! I want to do this and almost gave up. Thank you man. If you can help me find online what you did that would be dope for other swaps. Great video man keep it up!!!
Great job on the wiring bro.... but no connectors or soldering? And just wiring tape? Only thing i would add is with engine wiring always use soldering or atleast connectors.. with all the shifting of the motor and or motor work itll be east to rip those apart.
I confused. Did you use the d series engine harness with modified plugs from the b series donor? Or used the b series engine harness with modified plugs from the d series donor? Currently working on mine and need help haha
Lol same here bro, got it swapped but she won't 🔥 up, it does with some spray but still doesn't run right. I think I messed up somewhere with the harness and or connectors
It's ok brother I appreciate the info, me and my dad is building a b20v awd dirt car, , my dad's channel is called shift life garage,,I appreciate the support as well, my dad builds Honda's as well🛠🤙🙏❤
Since you took the whole d-series wiring harness out couldn’t you have just replaced it with the b-series harness n b-series ecu ? I have a 94 Integra with a b18b1 and wanna put it into my 92 eg hatch , can I just take the whole wiring harness out from my Integra along with the ecu and swap that all out with the harness n ecu that’s in my hatch?
I have a b20b swapped 2000ex ek 4door that cranks and won't start finally got it running then after a few hours dod the same thing and died again and it just canks no start
Hey bro can you help me plz ! I got a b18a1 that is obd0 and it's in my 98 ek that is obd2 . The ek had a d16 that had a crank position sensor by the crank with a plug. The b18 has it in the dizzy how can I wire that in or make this work plz help ?????
@@bradleyfelschow1270 cutting the wire is only the first half of it. Relocating the pin at the ecu cant be done by just cutting a wire. Here's the link on the proper way www.hamotorsports.com/pages/3-wire-to-2-wire-iacv-conversion-for-96-98-civic
I'm in the process of trying to choose a swap for my 99 ek hatch with the same d16y7. That b18b only makes about 36 more hp then the little d series. I'd love to b swap mine but for something that is gonna stay stock it's not worth all the money, effort and hassle for a little more power. Only swap worth it would be a k20-k24.
@@317travis-6 it depends on how much money you have really. A solid k swap cost way more than a solid b swap. Everyone would do a k swap of they could afford it
