Did you have success? My civic eg3 (94) is doing the same, when I drive the gauge goes up to full, when the car is standing some minutes it goes down to the right level.
@@silentzero7 So I cleaned where the fuel leveler was and reinstalled it and its good to go. I will have to get another Denso oem fuel pump assembly soon because I’m noticing cracks on the top of the fuel pump assembly.
Can you help me i dont know if it is gauge or sensor but my 98 civic gague i always little bit above 1/2, even when i turn the car off it stays like that.
Was you car jerking really hard as well? Our cars gas gauge is working but it jerks really hard like it’s out of gas and I don’t know if it’s the fuel sending unit or the fuel pump, please help
Normally problems like this will be either ur injections-needs clean or need new fuel filters all around including one in the gas tank on bottom of ur fuel pump
@@AbdulHafiz-bb8ut it was working with the old pump though. It wasn’t until I installed the new one that It says my tank is empty. I think I might have somehow damaged the sending unit when installing it or something. Or maybe the gauge just went out 🤷🏾♂️
Yes of course thats what my car was doing! Also it is always good if u just drop your tank and give it a good clean or simply change to new one and filters of course
hello. my gauge is acting quite differently than the video. when i'm driving, the gauge is reading the fuel level fairly accurate. but when i turn the car off, tha gauge goes higher from the actual level and goes down again when i turn the keys to on.
Honestly I never had this issue before u might have to do more research about it! Try another cluster if its cheap in ur area i usually go to junkyards and pull one out. Hope this helps all the best
