sir can you please let me know your experience of cvt transmission on extreme hill slope? Not the ones like underground parking ramp but more steeper than that with full load and stop and go traffic situation
Hi. My experience with Elevate CVT has been very fine in the hills and bad roads. I have copied the link to video in which I have shared details about off-road and hills experience: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ORpsvtLeK_w.html
Thanks for the detailed review of this feature as I also own ZX CVT. Can you confirm about TPMS? Is it working properly or it shows only when air pressure is low in any of the tire?
Hi, I was informed that TPMS is not an in-built feature and has to be installed as an accessory, which can then be connected with the app to monitor the tyre pressure. The same thing is written on their website as well which quotes "TPMS can be installed as accessory and paired with Honda Connect to get live pressure updates". I haven't installed the accessory, so I have no clue about the air pressure updates or notifications in the Honda Connect App.
It will give an alert inside the car if the tyre pressure is low although it won't tell you the exact numbers. For that, you will have to install this accessory for 10k from Honda which will tell the numbers inside the app
Very informative and useful video. Has anyone opted for TPMS add-on feature. Is it worth investing in that. I am getting the delivery of Elevate (VX CVT) day after tomorrow.
Hi. Congratulations for your new Elevate. I believe that installing TPMS device is not really necessary, you can save your money here. Rest, of course it depends on your choices and priorities. If you get it installed, do share your feedback about its working :)
Sir Thanks to share your reviews regarding The Honda Elevate car. I am planning to purchase the car Honda Elevate VX manual-white Planning to upgrade the tyre of the car from 215/55/R17 to 215/60/R17. Should I go for any paint on the side plastic portion of car or not. Please share your views regarding the mentioned points. Kindly share your views regarding the decision.
Hi. I would suggest you, do not spend your hard-earned money on changing tyres with such a small difference in profile, as you are already getting alloys and good tyres with Elevate, then why to change, that too with such negligible difference. Next, in my opinion, you should not go for paint on the side plastic portion. I got it done and now I am not happy with it, agency cannot paste the plastic properly like the original factory, so it is better you don't get any portion removed and painted.
Hi bro, 26/06/2024 i have taken my Elevate ZX CVT. but one major disappointment am facing is... cabin noise when i am not using music system. It starts at 50 Km itself. What should i do? shall i do damping? Also i want to know from where this much noise is coming? like Fire wall, Door or from some where else?
Sir ji main Elevate aur Honda City mein confused hoon. Dono kaa V variant dekh raha hoon. Elevate ka ground clearance aur seat height achi hai but City mein features zyada hai aur suspension bhi mujhe City ka zyada comfortable laga. City ke saath ground clearance ka maslaa hain. Kya Main City le lu yaa Elevate zyada acha option hain?
Dono cars ki segment bilkul alag hai, benefits and drawbacks bilkul different hain, is liye in dono cars ko compare nahi krna chahiye aur confuse nahi hona chahiye.. Aap apni priorities and requirements clearly note kro pehle. Agar apko better ground clearance and stance chahiye, to obviously Elevate leni chahiye, lekin agar better comfort chahiye to wo definitely sedan mein milega, to City leni chahiye.. So, aap apni requirements k hisab se car final kro aur jaldi le lo bs, jitna time sochte rahoge, utna time confusion badhti rahegi...
my Android Auto is facing some issues and it disconnects after some time and then it does not connect even with wire ... have you faced any similar issue
Hi, yes this android auto disconnection issue is a known issue of Honda Elevate, and a lot of users have been facing this from the first day. I made a video on this particular issue, which i shared with Honda officials also. You can watch and see the details: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gup0pg_GjRg.htmlsi=KH89CChdsOWp6ICz
The infotainment system was replaced under warranty by Honda Dealership, i made a video about this experience also. However, the same problem is still there, it has not been resolved. You can check the details in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Z0XiMDpMWw.htmlsi=TUQQI1HAdSipF9TT
Major software update has been released by Honda/Alpine for Android/Apple disconnect issue. Check details here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yr9Rtz6uADM.html
Hi. Once you install the app for the first time, it will ask for your mobile number, which is registered with Honda (that you gave while purchasing the car). After you fill all the details, the app will automatically connect with your car information as is available with Honda. However, after you have purchased the car, it might take a couple of weeks before your app connects with that data. So, just try to fill the details in app and see if it starts working as required.
As this is my first car with an app, I don't know what features are usually there in car apps which are useful in their own ways. It would be helpful if you share your opinion, like what are the downsides of this app, it would be great to know and enhance my knowledge.
