Yeah agreed👍 Deep sand is one of the hardest things to ride in - I would like to have a go on a dirt bike with full sand paddle tires and see what it's like

For me it's the other way around - I have to get myself to Iceland and rent a bike to explore all the natural beauty over there👍

That's funny as I just got back from a 2500 mile highway ride to Wyoming at 75+ mph. I've found that motorcycle & car salespeople are rarely knowledge about the products they're selling. In fact, when I bought my rally I was told that it required premium fuel and needed oil changes every 600 miles which is completely incorrect. I'm at about 13000 miles now and I've had zero mechanical issues with the bike (Other than the overheating). This bike also burns way less oil than any other small displacement bike I've owned even with all the hours and hours of highspeed highway riding I've done. I honestly have no concerns about the bike wearing out prematurely from running it on the highway. At 70 mph in sixth the bike is doing 7000 RPM which is well below the 10,500 RPM redline and at these revs the bike is smooth and unstressed. Congrats on the Rally purchase & ride safe buddy👍

The bike has about 200-230 miles of range for one tank depending on how you're riding. To make the video more engaging, I don't put all the fuel fill-ups in the video. Thanks for watching👍

I got mine from Everett Powersports - I was the first one to put a deposit down on the bike back in February, seems like the waiting time for these is surprisingly long now. If you end up getting one, I'd be curious what you think of the 300 coming from the 250... if the differences between the two bikes was large or not. Safe riding buddy 🍻

Thanks buddy👍 I personally don't have any issues with vibrations on this bike. After 75 mph you can begin to feel some vibs by they are not bad enough to cause discomfort or be overly fatiguing. I've now ridden the bike about 3000 miles on the highway at 75+ and I don't even notice the vibrations at this point unless I concentrate on it.

Thanks buddy🍻 Yeah still loving the bike - I have 4000 miles on it now and I honestly think there is no better motorcycle on the market for my needs for a light ADV setup. I ended up replacing the rear tire at 2700 miles, I'm currently running a Dunlop D605. Cheap & longer lasting than the stock IRC rubber but slightly worse off-road. How about you, are you still loving the bike?

Thanks - The bike is nearly completely stock. I wired the GPS unit onto the battery and it has a rear rack for luggage. That's it. My take on mods is very different than most - I only add modifications for things I really need. You really don't need to spend a lot of money on your bike to enjoy it.

Absolutely yes - Ear plugs are a must if you're doing long extended stints at 60+ mph in my opinion. I use the NoNoise Motorsport ear plugs. Ride safe buddy🍻

I weigh about 195 lbs fully geared up with my backpack - On this trip with the rear rack, tail bag, & tank bag I'd say I had about 220lbs of weight on the bike. I have done no suspension work on my bike nor do I plan to. I use this bike as a light ADV not as an aggressive trail bike. The suspension is very soft, that's true, but it's also very comfortable as a consequence. I find that I don't need to stand as much on dirt roads as the soft suspension just soaks up everything. The suspension works well enough for the slower pace of my travels. For reference I also own a WR250R which sports a much stiffer and overall better suspension setup. The WR works much better ridden aggressively or at high speed over difficult terrain but the Honda is more comfortable if you ride at a slower pace. Those are my 2 cents for what it's worth👍

@@TrekEthos Agree about the WR250R. Wonderful bike, but after watching your videos, I'm really drawn to the Rally. I have my heart set on a new PR7, but there are none to be had. I believe it can be made street legal in Washington. Your videos show off our wonderful state to the world (it rains every day folks so don't move here - you'll grow moss on your backside).
