Great, very helpful video! I didn’t realize how difficult the access was to see the type of screw and driver needed, but after I watched this a couple of times, I kept remembering hearing you say this is a T 25 screw and I just went directly to the T25 in my toolbox, and it worked the first time, without having to fuss around with 10 different Heads trying to figure out which one was the right one. Thank you!
@@gracecho5848 Yes, I ended up removing the glove comparment and the grill. It wasn't that hard. There is a holder on the right side of the glove compartment. Make sure to use your thumb and put pressure on the tab to get out of the way. There are two screws on the bottom that hold the glove compartment and four screws to remove the grill. After that the blower came out easy. Just do the reverse to put everthing back. I got it down yesterday: 12/25/2022 Don't be intimidated it. You can do it. Thanks for the detailed tip on how to move the motor to get it free from the tab! Did you look into just replacing the bearings and saving the good motor and impeller?
I’m trying to replace the blower in my 2013 CRV. I’ve managed to disconnect the wire and remove the screws, but that metal tab/clamp is holding it in place preventing the blower from coming out. Can anyone help?
Mine is also a 2013 crv. I need more forceful air to come out in order to warm up and cool down. Have you changed yours out yet? Any improvement? My headlights have always been dim. Have yours? Have you done any upgrades or modifications on your 2013 ? And may I ask what kind of mpg are you getting on yours? At less than 85,000 miles I had a dry pulley making noise and had to have that replaced and the belt replaced at my expense. I couldn't get Honda to participate sadly. How about you?

@@Susan70003 I also have a mileage of 150,000 in 2013, I change the belt as it should be according to the regulations, I drive LPG consumption on average 10 - 12 liters. a couple of times I changed the rear parking sensor, I took everything on Ali, it costs a little. Headlights shine perfectly xenon.
I wish I knew more about cars. My 2009 Element has a fresh cabin filter and 2013 CRV has a fresh cabin filter. The fan in the Element seems to blow way way more air.
Very nice video. I was having issues removing the blower motor after removing the screws. The holder of the plastic panel is in the way. Do I need to remove it too?
Good video, but pushing on the fan towards inside is not possible, the is a wal there. Only way for me was to remove the glove door and pull on that metal bar a litle towards me so i can slide the fan out.
Based on what he said about debris, maybe pull it back out and give it a good vacuum, the inflow and outflow pipes, just to make sure nothing snapped off the old.motor or debris passed through the old set up.
