what will happened to me if I get someone stealing my Catalytic converter inside my fenced yard if I shot the bastards with my 742 Remington 30 06 ,can someone tell me...specially a thief can answer my question, Thank you Tony ...let some thief answer....inside my yard come and get it.
It depends on your local state laws. In Texas, you can shoot anyone as soon as they enter your property. Best course of action is to have a security camera filming it. That way you have proof that they were steeling. Also, more then likely, you are not allowed to shoot unless you or your loved ones are in immediate danger. For example, if thief runs away, you can't shoot. If they run toward you with a knife or another weapon, shoot at will. Like I said, it depends.
They will cut further away and do more damage. You need to make CAT removal possible but with tools, not the saw. They dont use tools, they just cut it off because its faster. Best method would be reinforcing the plate with either hardened steel bars or aluminum bars so they cant cut through. And i would need to change those bolts to a pattern bolts requiring special key to remove them. I had no time nor will to do any of that because owner was not too interested in me spending money on it.
Great idea ! . BUT ... what if they bring their cordless impact driver that came in the Cordless Tool kit the stole ? I'm gonna make the identical plate & mount it the same way. Except when I'm done I'm going to take it to a Muffler shop and have them spot weld a couple inches on each side. Thank you !
It should be removable. I would spot weld too but... Impactor is a time delay. They need it done fast, before you are able to out your pants on and come out.
@@tonycstech I agree ! Except if you just so happen to live in most any of our Major cities/compassionate Democrat Utopian Paradises where crime has literally been legalized. Seriously ! We have been lucky enough to finally put an end to all of that "Oppressive Law Enforcement" stuff once & for all. Enabling our criminals to "Come out of the closet" ... if you will. No longer are they confined to the inconvenient late night & Early morning hours They can now do their rob'in & Steal'in during the day like normal people. In fact, our local activists hand out Sunblock along with the heroin & meth needles so when a particular crime takes longer than expected or if they find more opportunities they don't have to worry about a risk of skin cancer. Basically what I am saying is that if we dare to inconvenience our criminals by forcing them to bring extra tools or unnecessarily remove fasteners intentionally installed to slow them down. They will simply knock on the door and demand an apology & our assistance in removing any security devices. Or .. God Forbid ... they don't have the right tools then it is our duty to supply them or else we risk getting the Police called on us. The "Bad O'l Days" of inconveniencing criminals are over. I only hope & pray that California doesn't sue you for selling what most certainly can be interpreted as a "Hate Device" for enabling people to get in between a criminal drug addict & his drug income. Though I do wonder how you sleep at night knowing some meth-head somewhere might not have enough meth to keep him awake for 6 days ? Come on Man !

I'd do it for you for free but I don't think you would drive all the way to Washington and leave your car for a day. I suggest you look up the steel wire trick. Wrap the cat with the steel wire cord so they can't take it even if they cut it. They won't cut it if they can't remove it. The plate just makes it more obvious that they can't remove it, that's all.

Washington state BUCKEY's is known to rip people off, especially single women. The very least i could do is to do this for her for free. She only paid for 2 bottles of heat resistant spray paint.
Not trying to rain on your parade, but you’re wasting that young lady’s money again first of all that yellow paint is not going to do squat and that contraption that you put around it you do know they’re gonna be able to slide it outs and the bolt things that you’re covering your bolts with is worthless next time make your contraption tight around the converter that hole it’ll come right out and do her a favor and tack weld all the mounting bolts for your contraption of course after you make it tighter around the converter lol and one more thing you mentioned that it was an aftermarket converter. The thieves are not gonna steal an aftermarket converter. They’re only worth $15 in the market.
