Your video gave me the game plan to remove the regulator and install another one. It was very hard to work in such a cramped space, especially at age 78. But I got it done. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you, and to answer your question, no I didn’t use any additional sealer or adhesive. There was plenty still there. Also, this car only comes out in dry weather, aside from being washed a handful of times in the summer it isn’t getting wet. The adhesive you saw is the same stuff you’d find holding up the plastic vapor barrier on the inside of a door.
