Mike, thanks for the video. I spent over an hour and was frustrated with Crutchfield's bracket instructions but thanks to you, I was able to install the front speakers in less than 15 minutes. Thanks again!
Glad it helped. Crutchfield is pretty awesome in general, but whether the kit came the way they intended or not, I made the adjustment and it worked for me.
Mike, this is the MOST helpful video I have found on how to get the new tweeters installed. It is soooo much better than what comes from Crutchfield (no slam on Crutchfield, btw). Thank you!!!!

@@atwosheds mine came with a small box that takes one input from the head unit and splits it to two, one for tweeters and one for the woofer. Meaning I would have to run extra wire etc etc. Doesn't matter though, I'm sending them back and replacing with some easy 2 way speakers.
Do tweeters make a huge difference in terms of bass and volume? I have 4 kicker speakers and a kicker sub on the stock amp. Will upgrading the tweeters make a bigger difference? I’m asking bc there the smallest speakers of all
It's the complete opposite. Tweeters are for the high range of frequency. The best way I can put it is that upgraded tweeters will add clarity and make the sound profile more sparkly, if that makes sense.
