At 1:24 that is the Electric Load Detector. If your battery is not charging and both the alternator & battery check out ok then this can be the cause of your battery not charging.
I have a question about the fuses and relay box - the radio is a 10 amp relay. I'm looking at a radio that requires a 25amp relay - is it as simple as replace the 10 with a 25, or is more serious wiring required? (Asking for my twin. Thanks)
Just replaced the ignition switch on my 04 pilot, had to remove the fuse box on the drivers side to install new wire, now everything is back together and car will try to start, or start very briefly, I believe I did not put wires back correctly on fuse box front, but no diagrams show the side closest to engine, it's a yellow capped wire, cant figure out where it goes, seems as there is no fire, or fuel on start. PLease help anyone.
my wife's AC stopped working on her car trying to find all the fuses and relays for that do you have any suggestions is there an alternate relay or fuse box inside the car
I'm having problems with the key flashing just bought it don't know nothing about it I saw your clip what if the fuses are good how do I test a ring or how do I bypass it all
What year is your Element? I have a 2006, and my fuse box looks identical to yours except for one thing. I don't have a fuse in spot #7 (Brake lights, brake signal to ABS modulator, cruise actuator, ECM/PCM, horn relay, trailer lighting connector) but my brake lights work. I haven't tried the cruise in quite a while, and I don't have trailer lighting.
Thanks! Mine probably isn't supposed to have that fuse unless I have the trailer wiring harness. Now I just need to get my hands on the PDF of the earlier models (2006 is different from anything after that), and map it out. Your video is a huge help! I have been searching for something like this, previous to you posting yours. Now I'm going to cross my fingers, and hope the relays are the same on mine, as I try to diagnose my non-working A/C using your video for that! EDIT: As it turns out, my missing fuse wasn't #7. It's #8, which is supposed to be empty, according to the PDF
The radiator fan is fuse #4 in the diagram. I hate to break it to you, but Honda Elements has the dead radiator fan issue frequently, usually the fan motor. I had mine replaced a month ago for $280 along with the AC condensor fan, which is side by side with the Radiator fan. drive.google.com/file/d/0B8fkhMWxOasKQjhBTGJ1Q1hWb0U/view
My wiper blades don't work is there a relay for them. The wiper blade fuse under the steering wheel come in and now the new ones ain't doing nothing. @@PoolarityChannel
Element cluster failure. Take the dash out, and stick a cardboard about 1/4 inch thick in between the connector and the open cavity. Turn on lites, and check before putting dash back.
Hey genius the relay between the blue battery and the red ignition that you just said is just a plate that’s the DETECTOR UNIT ELECTRONIC LOAD 😂😂😂 just a plate
Yea your right ...my 04 civic is having trouble starting...I change the ignition switch...new battery...and everything powers up fine when I turn the switch on or try to start it but it doesn't start
Hahaha "that's just a plate there" that is called the electronic load detector (ELD), and half of those "relays" were fuses. Lol what a good joke! Had a great laugh. Thanks
