Thanks for the video. I'm going to go check those two fans immediately and replace them if necessary. I recently purchased a 2004 Element, converted to right-hand drive for a rural postal delivery route. It recently began overheating while driving these steep and rocky mountain roads in Western North Carolina.
Tip if your overheating going up hill turn your heater full blast fan full blast it will take some of the heat away from your engine might be enough to get over the top
Mine overheated yesterday in AZ. First day of 99 degrees. Turn on the heater worked to get the car cool to drive home. Was only about 1 mile away. Checked the coolant this morning and it was down about a quart. Fans both work. Going to drive later when it gets hot and see what happens. Maybe the temperature sensor? No leaks on coolant.
I had one honda element with the fan switch failure, it will don’t work sometimes or will open late . Having an scanner to check the temperature to make sure the fans are coming on on the right temp
@@Element_lifestyle can you please make a video on how to use this? Both of my phones aren’t working and the relay seem to be good. I was told by AutoZone it’s probably the coolant temperature sensor. Don’t want to replace the fans if I don’t have to.
Hi I have a question that may have already been answered perhaps? What if when I turn my A/c on max ONLY the right passenger side fan turns on, but NOT my left drivers side? Does that mean I have to replace that drivers side fan as well? I also overheat with A/C on going uphill
Mine had the same problem but I only bought the fan motor I did not buy the fan now it works just wanted to see if a lot of people had the same problem
First check the coolant is in proper level inside the radiator . The Make sure when you turn on the a/c both fan are working , if both fan are working then is a big chance it can be the Dan switch going bad.
Is that the a/c condenser fan,or the radiator fan that cools the radiator? I replaced both even the coolant sensor but still getting almost to the red mark mark going up the mountain. The fan both works with the a/c on,what could it be?When going down hill the a/c cold comes back going up it goes away and back to warm.
I have a 2007 Honda Element SC and I noticed the radiator fan was not spinning during testing. Are both fans 2 different parts or are they the same? Do I need to get a right and left or just 2 of the same part I need clarification.
AND you completely skipped over the wire with the two white clips at the bottom of the fan. There's no room and no way to see hoe they release. These two clips are easily the hardest part of the fan replacement. The bottom splash guard is an engineering tragedy as well.
