I’m driving 2008 honda civic 1.8v and next car I’ll buy Elevate for sure. The engine is best and I love Honda it’s so easily maintainable with reliable engine.

Honda Elevate is not a 5-star GNCAP safety rated car. It has not been tested. If it gets tested and gets 5-star, I can see it taking away some customers from Skoda/VW.
Honda is a Japanese car and Japanese cars always take care of the build quality in their vehicles. Honda company's engine is world famous more reliable than other cars manufacturers.

Honda elevate is yet to get global ncap rating. Only drawback for elevate is not powerful engine. If Honda would have given the option, elevate would have become king of segment
But in my opinion the powder is sufficient, for this Vehicle, yes if they give turbo then we have to compromised with mileage. And now days we people see first safety build quality, mileage Engine, trusted company.
200Nm+ torque should be minimum in segment for any Rs 17L+ car. You may not need to drive fast but it's what differentiates premium car from below segment.
@@boxersoho I drive a 2014 Hyundai i20 diesel. This car had 220Nm of torque when new. I have a lot of fun in this car… Where will I use this torque? Wheelspins… You don’t need this much torque on highways in India. There is no minimum torque and minimum price. If you need torque, just buy a Tata lorry. :)

When I pysically saw elevate's rear seat, it is a dissapointment again. It is so narrower in term of thigh support than all its competitors. Even hatchbacks like toyota Etios or Maruti Swift have better thigh support. Looks like Honda treats rear seat passangers as second class citizens. I have a WRV idtec, looks like Elevate's doors are lighter than WRV. Similar to Creta. I think the engine and boot space are positive points,. about high ground clearance it should not become a liability over time. WRV's ground clearance was adequate.
Elevate is really good car. I bought skoda kushaq 1.5 manual over elevate for the following reasons: 1) Better engine, turbo is very expensive tech. Had honda given turbo engine then it would have been close fight. But honda's 1.5 NA engine isnt comaprable to german's 1.0 tsi, 1.5 tsi toh alag hi league ka engine h. 2) Way better paint, i have old honda city (and fortuner also) so i know what im saying. Japanese koreans give worst paint quality 3) Better stability,cornering,braking (elevate is also good, definitely better than other japanses and koreans but vw skoda are ahead of honda) 4) Very good mileage over elevate ( I'm still in the break in period, only driven 220 km, and getting 12 in city, 15 in city + highway.. by my estimation Despite bigger 1.5 tsi engine and with 150 horsepower, on highway it can easily give 17-18 and if driven for sake of mileage then 22-23 also possible.....I test drove eleavte... that car will give very good comfort, shayd kushaq se bhi better, no doubt about it but no mileage) 5. Japnese chalate aa rha tha. So wanted something else. Elevate drove like my honda city which is not necessarily a bad thing but driving elevate didn't seem like ab upgrade. But these germans are something different. Cant explain in words.
It was expected more from Honda....but they have disappointed by giving one engine options no turbo no diesel no hybrid. Very low quality interiors. Camera based adas not radar based which is completely useless in foggy and low visibility conditions. Cabin insulation is horrible. Positives are peace of mind ground clearance boot space reliable NA engine with milage of 14-15 max. Average interiors. No 5 star rating.
Clearly a biased review, selectively picking points to make your car seem better and the warranty on the taigun is 4+3 extended plus paint warranty which you don't get in elevate. Also, you mentioned both cars are 5 star rated but they are not. The elevate has not been tested and it being based on the Honda city platform can max to max get 4 stars and gncap calls it unstable.😞 Moreover, this 1.0 engine is very reliable and it's localised in India so parts won't be an issue. With respect to the boot, the rear seats come with a 60:40 split fold (which the elevate does not have)which allows for much more practicality which you completely missed in the video. This car is NOT a 5 seater. They have given bucket seats in the rear because they themselves say it's a 4 seater. Its bucket seats are the best in comfort in the segment. It's sad that you failed to mention all these points and are incorrectly representing the Taigun. Please do better.

Paaji.. keep the videos coming 👍🏻by the way Elevate me bhi individual suspension sirf front me hai! Rear me torsion beam hai. Ye suspension setup har car me hota hai. The only difference is how the suspension is tuned, in which Honda is very good and balanced.
More engine and cabin noise in the Elevate on higher revs. 5th person can't sit on rear seat. Underpowered, gear shifting not so smooth. Adas can't be turned off for city driving. Some features are available only on App, which is not working properly. Many major features are also missing. One can avoid this
Honda Elevate is clearly a better choice. In practical day to day need it isn’t underpowered. I did cruise at 120 and it was firmly planted, very stable, engine revving 2000 RPM. When you accelerate hard engine then it become noisy.
It is severely underpowered. Only good for city runs, office/school to home and shopping etc. Take it on a hill road and you're in for a load of frustration
The under thigh support in Elevate is very less. That is a big downer. Long rides will be difficult. Whereas Taigun and Kushaq have very good understanding thigh support. So Honda missed this point
Elevate ki safety abtak aai he ni toh kaise aapne pata lagaya iski safety ka? And interior ko compare kare toh honda city ke muqable mein elevate kuch bhi ni hai and I found cabin is not silent in elevate

Onroad 18.30L Inkerala. The interior quality is lacking, there's heavy cost cutting. I haven't test driven Seltos I'll compare it with Seltos and if suspension, Cabin noise and Driving fel is not that different I'll pick Seltos for 18.6, just cause of the cabin feel and quality it offers for the price, it's almost as reliable as Honda these days from what I have heard from users. If Seltos is too bad then will stick to Elevate.

Paying extra for DSG GEARBOX better than CVT HONDA , Driving dynamics is far better, 2 cylinder de activation technology to get 18-19 kmpl mileage , built quality safest car of India global NCAP 5 start, body shell well balanced. Just go for Honda Elevate if you are settling for NA engine...There are many reasons why Elevate excels in almost every department other than a few features but then the pricing is also justified....So Elevate seems to be a No Brainer when it comes to NA petrol engines...Better Build quality, Best boot space in segment, Best ground clearance in segment, good driving dynamics, good suspension setup, honda reliability, Best NA engine, low maintenance, decent mileage, Ageless design, premium tan interiors, Best CVT technology, Stable ACE body structure, Good ASS, Good headlights, Good paint quality, All must have features, Good seat comfort for both front and rear, ADAS and a very aggressive pricing....A No-Nonsense car perfect for family to summarise...👍🏻

More powerful is skoda or Volkswagen both are good to go, if you are not worried about average, Good build quality. But I personally feel uncomfortable in Volkswagen while driving the car, left foot was not comfortable Because of centre console, if you have seen my vlog.

Bhai... I was also confused between Perl white, Golden Brown metallic, and Obsidian pearl Blue. But on road Blue stands out really well and looks beautiful. Waiting for my Blue Elevate now.
@@amitpatilamit agree but few days back i saw blue elevate on road and colour look faded coz of dirt and was not looking good, whereas white one was looking much better on real road conditions
@abhishekdogra6398 White is always the best and low-maintenance color. Which is why it also has a high waiting period. Blue needs maintenance, but if you do it, then it will be definitely a head turner.
Honda Elevate does not have 5 star accredition yet from Global NCAP. In today's scenario of new generation vehicles, Turbocharged Engines offer better performance than Naturally aspirated engines. Hence VW Taigun scores better in terms of Engine Performance. VW build quality, Safety standards definitely is better than Honda Elevate. German Engg, Driving pleasure is far superior in VW Taigun. For driving enthusiasts VW TAIGUN is a better choice than HONDA ELEVATE. However in terms of Fuel Economy, maintenance costs HONDA ELEVATE wil score better than VW TAIGUN.

Sir all you said is valid. Known engine, rear seat comfort but 2 thing 1) mechanical component in vw skoda is superior than elevate. And mechanicals are the most expnesive in a car, gaadi ki neev whi hote h. Par whi baat h na ki yeh cheej bahar se dikhti nhi islie log shayd consider hi nhi karte. 2) On paper mehngi h vw skoda par inpe bdiya discount milta h For eg Elevate ka second top model(forgot the name), with manual mujhe on road 16.05Lakh me mil rha tha Whereas kushaq ambition manual (second top model) mujhe 16.20Lakh ka pada h. Isme bhi 1.5 tsi lia h mne iss rate me. Not the 1.0 tsi

Measuring German car's Boot space and ground clearance is something different. On paper VW/ Skoda ground clearance and boot space is less, they measure ground clearance on basis when the car is loaded with 5 people. And coming to boot space, in practical VW/Skoda can carry more luggage. Drove Honda elevate and Kushaq/taigun 1.5. Elevate is a no match for german engine. Elevate struggles to pickup initially while taigun is quick within second you put the accelerator. The engine sound is sporty in taigun while elevate is very normal car engine compared to taigun. The only good thing about Elevate is boot space and ground clearance, and more comfortable for 5 people, rest taigun is winner.
Bhai today I test drove Elevate, it's good but not as good as my Nexon diesel.... What do you say. But I am considering Elevate in place of Harrier because of diesel issue 10 yrs vs 15 yrs

Elevate have better ground clearance and more boot space than Taigun. In rest other areas Taigun is better. Headrest and Seat adjust kari ja sakti thi.
