Why so much hype about Sunroof which is not useful for a Country like India, because of hot weather & pollution.. Since most of the You tubers are making hype, manufacturers are making Sunroof kind of necessary elements. While hardly anyone uses it..& Sad part is a person like me not finding a good option without Sunroof..I believe many others also must be going through the same dilemma.. Stop advertising for Sunroof..
I saw elevate first time on road in my home town. Its absolutely looks different than any other car. Its eye catching on the road for that massive front grill design.

In Creta 3 people can sit comfortablely in rear seat whereas Elevate 2 adults 1 kid can seat. That is the major issue with elevate. Honda missed the basic need.
Couple of suggestions: 1. Most of your points / comparison relates to top spec / variants of all the midsize SUV in question. Not all buyers go for top variants. Offerings available for buyer at base variants will add more value to us as consumer. Or may be a dedicated discussion / vlog just on base variant comparison will be insightful :) 2. Most of the base variant buyer of mid size SUV are the prospects of top spec / variants micro SUV like venue, brezza, sonet etc. That should also be brought into discussion for the mid size SUV comparison topic on benefits perceived by moving over from top spec compact SUV to base trim of mid size SUV
Yes, most of the discussions on all channels is about the top specced. Elevate offers more features on SV than the Creta E and if they price it near or slightly above it's petrol trim. Creta has advantage because it also offers a frugal and punchy diesel even in the base variants.
@@vijuvlogs Yeah. For petrol heads, an SV is a good Choice. They can add a descent infotainment system, speakers and alloy wheels to their liking if they can spend a lakh and a half extra. A diesel person can get the Creta EX with no mods for the same price.

One thing channels need to talk about is the value for money and affordability. Since they brought automatic petrol in picture , VW and Skoda automatic base variants highline costs nearly 18.6L . Creta SX- which is starting automatic variant and Seltos HTX starting variant costs 19.8l . On the other hand elevate and GV base automatic variants like V and Delta costs only 16.2L on road with most of features . For 18.8L VW top line price we can Elevate VX with push button , sunroof and alloy wheels .

Had they been intelligent, they must had applied their mind after seeing what their competitors are giving features from base model as standard. This elevate is missing tons of good features and moreover only single engine option is available. So, there is very much doubt about intelligent pricing. Only media and youtubers are promoting only due to paid promotion otherwise there's nothing charm and appealing in this
As per recent news, Honda going to offer ventilated seats as accessories which solves must have feature list!! panoramic Sunroof,360 camera are good to have and not must to have.. And if they price exactly with city ZX (15.5 ex showroom) then it will be bullseye!!
Good to know... As per my previous driving experience for long rides, ventilated seats were deal breaker for me. I hope if they could come up with a turbo engine too but seems for that have to wait for years.
Even though elevate offer a good knee room the bump on the floor makes the thigh support very poor which take away all the comfort and practicality the elevate could offer
When you want to put 17+ Lakh, it’s wise to put that on a tried and tested car instead of a new car in the market. Reliability is super important for any Vehicle.
Thanks. It was nice and it helped me to further strengthen my decision on elevate. I just wanted inbuilt ventilated seat but then i think i will continue with the aftermarket ventilated seat cover which i am using for last 3-4 years in my current car.
I think its us who need to promote Honda more than they themselves do😂😂sad truth but hopefully this product can break some barriers for Honda and they rethink getting a hybrid instead of electric in the future
Despite having inherent strengths such as reliability, space and practicality, Honda tends to put itself at a disadvantage in terms of the (lack of) features. It’s beyond me why, when they’ve got the basics covered, they don’t add those extra features to make their proposition unbeatable.

If you have 16 lakhs to spend, and want to show up in a big car, Elevate is the way to go, but Creta is Creta, most popular for a reason because it is subconsciously premium in our Indian minds

Liked how you kept the POV objective. I believe the one of the things Honda should have done better was to make the rear bench reasonably comfortable for three people along with a 3-point seatbelts for all.
ELEVATE ADAS is not RADAR based, it based on CAMERA, which is less Reliable. 1) Very less Mileage 2) Rear seat space is not comfortable 3) Overpriced Suv I would still choose Creta , due to multiple engine options it provides, Only best thing here is Honda Engine, but as it is Suv, we are not getting any Hybrid, and thus it will give very very less mileage in single digit. Which is not worth.

It really hurts when you see your favourite brand is lacking in most of the aspects where Competition already gone on next level in terms of Engines,Features offering etc Elevate is just a survival for honda for next 3 yrs.. Don't know what is stopping them to offer turbo engines or localisation of hybrid engines and components just like toyota is doing.. People in india are mileage concious where Elevate is delivering only 15 kmpl Arai claimed mileage It misses out features like Ventilated Seats, panoramic sunroof,headsup display, Electric seats adjust etc many features which are already there from competition and Features are the deciding factor for Indians Their flagship cars doesn't get Ventilated Seats doesn't mean they won't offer in Elevate..Such a Arrogance Only ZX variant is featured loaded..2nd top VX lacks Cruise control,rear Armrest..If they aren't offering features then price should be very very aggressive or else they have to face consequences.. If not Features then they should sponsored test in GNCAP and get a test done and if it scored 5 star then it will be plus for them to increase the sales numbers because only German twins are 5 star rated where Korean lacks
Surprisingly the Honda city has better features distribution as compared to elevate. If you want feature you have to go for top end unlike city we’re v or vex is enough.
@@chinmaysawant9275 Not Surprisingly,May be this has been done intentionally because City has already established the legacy of Honda brand in India and has survived 25 yrs They won't offer features list of City(sv to vx) in Elevate because if they do then majority of customers will shift to Elevate when they go to buy City and Honda doesn't want it..They want customer to buy Top variant of Elevate so as to gain maximum profits..and The customer who will go to buy Lower variant of Elevate will definitely get attracted by features list of City from base variant so that Elevate won't eat the sales of City.. Honda has never been late in terms of City launch and Facelift timeline..
I used the touchscreen on Elevate . Its quite responsive and of very good quality. How is the infotainment system of hyryder(which was worst in the segment) at par with honda elevate’s ? And if that is true then what does the Honda elevate over any of its competitors ?
If all car companies gives a free hand in handing out lower variants timely and without any fuss. I guess 90% people will choose lower variants. For lower variants elevate is better in every way against all competition.
It needs to take part in competition with GV sisters. Their low end models are becoming crowd favourites, making customers go above and beyond budgets to get them
I disagree about the Elevate interior quality being good. Its just not. The golve box came straight from Amaze, flimsy. The door handle inside is flimsy, and screws are exposed. Even tata covers the screws with plastic caps... Look behind the steering, and you'll see the end of leather just left there, how irresponsible, did not expect to see that in a car that costs 19L. Multiple dummy switches. Even on the steering wheels on top end .🤣 cheap looking handbrake, gear lever, like it's from a sub 10L car. Key hole on the door like it's 2005. Many, many more minor issues. Honda fucked up with the elevate. Great car that's missing almost everything. Buy it just for the engine and reliability.
Guys please be more practical. This video looks like you guys are promiting elevate and are not neutral. You have got 1 point positives of all other cars in the segment and n number of positives of elevate. The issue is today's generation is not fool. Such sponsored video doesnt work now. We are only discussing the macro USPs of each car relative to the Elevate. Yes, as mentioned in the video, there are other selling points that many of its rivals have but they’re supposed to be available at a higher price point as well. If Honda prices the Elevate on par with those more expensive variants/versions, then the buyers will not hesitate to drive right past a Honda dealer
Skoda kushaq /vw taigun are real cars in the segment.first priority is safety and build quality then driving pleasure and power then features…vw/skoda cars are best in segment .and rest are just gimmicks.

Excuse me, people stop commenting on elevate because it's full waste of cost, I observed it's the same engine as Honda City and noise engine,no turbo option, engine is small, Never compare with creta,creta is far far better from Elevate
Both pros and cons of elevate.. 1. driving position and bonnet visibility makes it fun to drive car.. people underestimate this factor but this is a deal breaker for many people.. 2. CVT starts from second model itself 3. Honda reliability 4. The premium feel of cabin is only limited to top model.. be it the leather seats or the touchscreen.. atleast the VX model should have also given this cabin.. even the back seat armrest is also not present in VX model.. the features are not evenly distributed across variants So honda is telling people that either you buy the top model or don't buy it all..
5:40 ADAS in seltos is available in GTX+ variant and you clearly mentioned in the start of seltos part that do not compare elevate ZX with seltos GTX+ as it is unfair to elevate. So all in all, at that price range, only elevate offers you a premium level 2 ADAS
Maruti need to upgrade the Grand Vitara .. the Grand Vitara Alpha model with its 16+ lakh price tag lacks features that other 10 lakhs car gets.. it even has less features than brezza and fronx

As a owner of elevate since 6 months there are few things which makes daily driving not easy - 1. Lack of under tigh support in the front seats and lack of foot area this cause pain in the tight and ankle after long drive 2. please dont take the dual tone as during hot summer - the area around the sun roof area gets super hot in summer even with the sun roof cover you will feel the heat on top of your head while driving and after few hrs both the front passengers will feel the heat and you will be exhuasted after driving. I am not able to find the solution to this and i am disappointed with the lack of engineering skills being executed in this car
1. Use silicon gel under tigh it will solve the problem and increase the comfort also 2. heat block silver cover , stitch and paste it at the glass of sunroof, or above that plastic cover 3. Tell me after you apply any of these
@RSB143 i was able to improve the under tigh support and lower back support. I took the car to a seat fabricator, and he added extra firm foam in the under tigh area and lumbar support area now the seat feels like a recliner. I am very happy with this solution.
Elevate's door closing thud was much better than Seltos. Apple car play/Android Auto wireless for Elevate while wired for Seltos GTX plus or X line even. It is so outdated.
Astor looks better in terms of luxury and comfort than Elevate. Personally, the design of the elevate is not so appealing at all and also not as features rich too.
I have driven 1.5 tsi of skoda/ vw on a long trip. I would anyday take manual NA I- vtech of Honda. So much fun after 3000 rpm. Don't know why people don't talk about that when it comes to performance.
In 1.5 NA,there's no match for the ivtec. If sensible features, practicality, reliability along with peppy and smooth 1.5 NA petrol with comfy ride and well sorted dynamics makes Elevate a better car if it's offered in the correct pricing. I strongly feel Honda is going to price it aggressively. Let's wait.

Over the past 3 months i have heard so much on Elevate that I feel i can now make a video too. The make or break for Elevate I guess only hinges on the price now. God knows why they kept a 3 months gap between reveal and price announcement! Either Honda is not very sure or it simply testing the patience of prospective buyers. IT IS SO DAMN IRRITATING FOR A PROSPECTIVE BUYER LIKE ME!
Honda elevate’s interiors looked dated in real life during the test drive, and the plastic quality was very poor. Not sure why these guys mentioned that it is luxurious…
