I have 2014 honda fit hybrid. Mostly cars are manufactured under regional conditions. I observed fit experienced gear issues in hot regions..because 1.3 ltrs can't reach to the top of gear inside where shifter assembly is working..+ when engine block heats up, it heats gear case so to shifters inside the gear box, so amount of atf gets dry or evaporates because of hot gearcase making shifters inable to shift. Best pouring capacity here in pakistan is 3-4 ltrs, so that each gear gets its lubrication. Thanks for your upload.
@Tariq Asad are you crazy!!! Don't put 3-4 liters of ATF DW1!! Are you loosing your car's manual?? 1.3 liters is according to car manual and sufficiently enough. This is also according to Honda Workshop manual for Fit Hybrid GP5. I also own this car which is manufactured in Malaysia which also hot and high humidity climate. Don't put out wrong info!!!
@paulmeehan1978 hi Paul, I'm in Ireland as well, I'm looking to do the CVT oil change on a 161 Honda Shuttle, should be the same as your car isn't it?
Hi there, may drain plug broken when I changed the fluid. And I can’t find any store or Honda dealer at Australia, because Australia doesn’t sell Honda Fit. So, can you tell me where I can buy drain plug Honda fit 2015? Please
For me is 1.5L of dw-1. Dont over fill over this capacity as the gearbox will be overfilled and will leak all over the place, once that happen u need to overhaul the gearbox to change all the O ring and seals
@@paulmeehan1978 that's cool, I don't need to undo transmission pan then. Also, do you know oil capacity? I mean for the whole gear box, not 1.3L when you change. I couldnt find any data online? thanks
@@paulmeehan1978 I have a honda Fit hybrid and the car is showing on dashboard transmission inspection, code P1737 when scanning, but I can't fell anything in the car, I think it is a electrical error or something like that, do you work on it? I can take the car to you. I live in Dublin. Thank you
