Appreciated the clear, close-up photography and simple explanations. Is it just more cost effective to just change out the carburetor rather than clean the existing one?
There is a small gasket that fits on the bolt that holds the bowl to the carburetor. Do you have a part number for just that gasket? No bolt. A packet of 10 to 12 gaskets would be great. Thanks
My newer automatic choke generator is quite a bit different than this 240 carb - still the same basic carb of course, only much different. I am specifically hoping to convert it to a Tri Fuel carb to have the option of either gasoline or propane. Any experience with that? I've been searching for well over a month and have had absolutely no success. - Joe S -
Because engine mechanics fix engines, not wash and detail them. Drives costs up because our time is valuable. If the owner cared about cosmetics it would have already been spotless.
