Just found your channel and I have a Spartan RZ54. Has the Kawasaki FR691V engine. I bought it about a year ago and have 13 hours on it. I like it so far, however I noticed when I demoed it at the dealer, the height control knob numbers were faded and didn't line up with the pointer, height is also off a bit. I think someone tried twisting the knob without pushing the foot pedal. I Also noticed the gas cap doesn't screw on all the way. I lifted the front end to sharpen the blades and smelled gas. When I looked for a leak, gas was pouring out of the threads of the tank and cap. Thanks for showing a filter number, I've been trying to cross reference it to a name brand filter. I like that it is a longer filter than what came on the engine, adds a little more oil. I like the size of the tray on the left hand side of your model. Mine is smaller and can't even hold a pair of hand pruners. Over all the cut quality is excellent along with the quality of the manufacturing. I think it will be the last mower I buy.
Have an issue with my oil drain plug sealing. Tractor is a ‘91 Bolens ST140 that I just did an oil change on. The drain pipe comes down through the “belly pan” of the front of the tractor, and the plug is a female 3/8-18 threaded cap over the pipe end. No matter what I do, I can’t get it to seal and not drip. Would Teflon tape be appropriate here, and would it work to seal it?
I need to upgrade the charging system on a Briggs Intek 19.5 single cylinder. It has the 3 amp basic system. Can i just change the stator and add a rectifier or do i need a flywheel with more magnets in it?
If you are very smart you would not use fire and get the plug that hot because by doing so your plug gap will not remain correct because it softens the keep of the plug just use a wire brush on a bench grinder a bench grinder or drill that always works best best
So, I have a question. Does the governor open the butterfly on carb.? I have a lawnboy, 195cc when pull the handle it closes the contractor for the electric start I don't use. (Battery to expensive). But, anyways it looks like the there is a Tensioner spring and a hook rod I guess you would call it.the hook rod is on the carb. But when I pull cord the governor does not move, the mower will crank when I add gas but then cuts back off after gas has emptied.
The only problem here is you just REMOVED the hardness of the factory heat-treatment, (you annealed it) and there's a real good chance it could break off those threads and be stuck in the head, the next time you try to change plugs (or repeat this flame cleaning)....a $15 Harbor Freight plug sand-blaster, does a nice job, with NO HEAT.
Brand-new hrx217 vya. Followed manual instructions. Blade not spinning. Engine runs full power.blade control not doing anything. What's wrong? Please help.
How to tell if my 2003 Polaris Ranger was rebuilt or not what should I look for just trying to check can't get an invoice from my mechanic but he runs a professional business set up pay my actually be a member of this Paige hope not
It appears that most people missed the reason WHY THIS SPARK PLUG IS UNCLEAN AND OILY! It's got to do with the engine it came out of! A plug like this one has come out of an engine that has many problems related to the lubrication system of the vehicle. Cleaning a plug is definitely not rocket science!
Everyone should have a torch, especially out in the field, never use a wire brush because the metal from the brush comes off on the porcelain and causes the spark plug to misfire
😮😊 boy, I never seen a spark plug cleaned like that before. That's a new one to me. I won't heat that up too much with that. Torch that plug is going to get red hot. That's a new idea that I'm watching now. Thank you.
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 well yeah that's true. I'll agree with you on that. But I never seen a clean like that cleaning it with a torch. Someone told me it can still do damage to the plug cleaning it like that. This is just what I heard from someone. That's all. Thanks for the response back. Good luck to you.
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 I'll agree with your friend. Yeah, plug does get hotter inside of an engine. I was talking about cleaning it that way if the plug was going to be good people do what they want. That's all right. I enjoy the video though. Thank you.
I have a stock Triple AAA pump (I know it sucks) that comes with my never before used GX390 Simpson and the pressure adjuster has a different contraption that isn’t built like the one shown in the video :(
