There is problematic mud splashing in CB 350 if you ride in the rains. The Carbon Racing (Repulse) Fender Extender is the only decent solution to this problem, but unfortunately it is not a 100% solution. On top of this, you will have to take care of the chrome components on the bike (exhaust, handlebar, fenders) to prevent rusting . .

Interesting video, thanks. I live in the North East of England and the roads are often covered in farm soil and in the winter, lots of road salt. Modern bikes have fashionably short mudguards and so my bikes tend to get filthy and it is hard to make fender extenders big enough to be useful. Most older Japanese bikes have very rusty mudguards and only when made out of plastic do they survive. My 70 year old Matchless (350 single) has big, proper mudguards and it stays a lot cleaner. They are called mudguards for a reason but the short racing or bobber chopped guard brigade have a lot to answer for!

Thanks for the comment. I just saw videos of your Matchless and Honda 500. Beautiful motorbikes. The joy of maintaining and riding classic bikes is unmatched, none of the newer lot can give such an experience. The Royal Enfield which I have too has proper covering mudguards. The place I live is close to the coast, so if the steel/chrome quality is not good, it will easily rust.

I've booked a cb350 and I've asked them to fix the mudflap extender keeping this issue in mind. Since I Live in Kerala as well I hope it reduces the problem and my clothes won't get muddied

Once you fix the extension the problem will be solved, fix one for rear wheel also..

3M tape doesnt stays for long. I went back to service center and they drilled mudguard and attached the extender

Did you use the high strength bond one by applying primer coat on both surfaces.after cleaning ?

@@GodsOwnRider yes i used it. It will stick strong for few days. After certain rides especially in rainy season it wont be strong as first. sturdiness was not there hence i got it drilled and fixed. Big wing service charge 150rs and they do it perfectly. In my case they did it for free.

@@vinodkkumar1 Mine is still holding well with just the tape. Its been a month and had a few runs in the rain. I hope it stays, if it does not then I might screw it 🤣

Hi, How is riding ergonomic after installing split seats and handle bar risers? Is their any improvement? I heard the seat height would get increase after changing the split seat? and this eventually spoil the purpose of handle bar riser…Is that true? Or any improvements in comfort/riding ergonomic ? your feedback would be much helpful.

I would have felt the ride very uncomfortable without both these, I installed the split seat first and later the riser, feeling the riser is not adequate I just tilted the handlebar a bit futher raising it, now the posture is very comfortable, if stock seat is ok for you just continue with it, for me it was highly uncomfortable

Yes, the cables are fine even after installing riser, the angled one requires cable rerouting, I have the same height as yours and did not find the need to install angled risers

Test ride and get one which you like, both are good bikes..cb350 looks like a modern retro while classic maintains its pure retro style. Classic will be more fun to ride within the city due to good.low.end Torque which cb lacks..I like the posture on the cb better than the classic, also the suspension..so comfort wise it would be cb

@@GodsOwnRiderGlobal honda has pretty high standards but indian manufactured model are not up to the mark with global standards. This is there first version of the bike so they will come with minor upgrades in the upcoming versions. We the buyers of hness and rs versions are probably the testing phase consumers.

There is also no thought given about oem accessories for these models where as RE has tons of accessories to their list before even launching their bike. You can't even go to higher altitudes with the higness the engine will struggle because they didn't even bother to test the bikes on higher altitude. Tons of youtubers are struggling due to this issue yet Honda doesn't care.

Yup same issue faced by me also but the service guy told me that they would fix this during service but i don't think they can. Either they have to replace the fuel tank or paint it completely. Mine was cb350rs bought just couple of days ago. Been riding a hornet and found no issues whatsoever but honda indian manufactured models like hness, cb350rs, activa and all has lots of quality issues.
