Hey Guys and girls, I am sure that after watching our Genting Hill Climb video of the Honda HR-V Turbo V spec, the next question on your minds must be the fuel consumption.
Here you go then - we did a 30 km run around the ring roads of the city just to check out the fuel consumption, and even I am amazed with the results.
We kept the video running without any edits or cuts, so that you can see exactly what the conditions of the test were.
Note though, that the instruments and tools to measure are as per what you can find in the standard car, with and the car was running on standard settings, without any special tuning.
Of course you can also book this vehicle through us at
shop.yskhongdriving.com
Or send us a whatsapp at 016 3350609

20km/l for 1.5 turbo is impressive!

good but i think its the best you can get frum HRv as you are runnig below 80 kph with almost no acceleration. Keeping below 1600 rpm means the turbo is not pushing much. Try do it at 100kph and you will get a huge drop in km/l

I don't understand why most car reviewers want to even relate to the particular car fuel consumption as indicated by that meter reading that fluctuates up and down. We all know it's impossible to attain such consumption figures in the real world. 33.1km per litre ? You will be lucky if you can get 15km/litre overall in the real world. Besides I believe, that meter reading is just a guide to the driver of his driving habit. You step hard on the accelerator, that figure will drop to less than 10km/litre, when you maintain it at 90km/hr , you might get 33km/litre or more! When the car goes up an incline that figure will drop, when it goes down a slope the figure will rise! It is just a guide to tell you how your driving habit is affecting the fuel consumption of the car! Nothing more than that! To compute the real world fuel consumption figure, one should fill the tank to the brim , reset the mileage meter and refill to the brim when the tank is almost empty and compute the fuel consumption based on the mileage and fuel used.

Below 80km/h turbo low boost absolutely low fuel consumption. Over 80 to 100 km/h High Boost turbo, Fuel Consumption Absolutely higher then 1.5 NA.. Honda Have Paid Advertise 😂

Unfortunately, msia market hybrid models tak laku. If not, we could enjoy 25~30km/litre on current civic/hrv/mazda3/swift/chr&etc like Thailand and Singapore

Uncle Khong, please do another review in Normal mode. Driving in Econ Mode for turbo is not fun right

I heard that we can set the sport mode as default mode. Which makes turbo kicks in at 2000rpm. Normally 3000rpm. Is that true?

Perfect engine spec for this size suv. In Thailand only one variant is offered is 1.5 hybrid e hev and honestly i dont like it. Teh fuel tank only has 40 litre. In close range its ok but not overall use. Better bring 1.5T and increase the fuel tank around 45 litre
