Collected mine this week from a lovely lady first owner, who I swear was crying when she waved goodbye. 900 miles, banana yellow, cute....its in my conservatory. My mate who used to test ride fof Honda UK in the 70's and 80's was so impressed, he has ordered a red one. I'm collecting it in my van from Nottingham next Wednesday. Me and my pal are going to have so much fun when the girls are out shopping....cant wait. Love love love my Monkey. X

Had my red one for a few months now. I’m 47 and just wanted something fun to ride around the Dorset coast. It’s brilliant, it’s my dependable little mate. And when you park it up in public, people stop and stare at it 😎

I have a red one and it is as much fun as you say. I have the yellow one ordered can’t wait to get it in May. I rode Sunday and it’s so easy to trail ride and street ride. Makes me smile and can’t get enough of it.

Quite funny that you mention how easy it is splitting lanes when showing a shot of you with a snowboard sideways on your back! Good luck with that!

I own and ride my Harley-Davidson Softail Streetbob. As a 2nd bike I've just bought the Z125 Monkey Bike. It's brilliant and real honda quality.

It's a tempting proposition for Chiang Mai traffic. Not as practical as a Wave 125i as there's no underseat storage, but with a small backpack it could be ideal, although I prefer the VanVan 200. A bit more grown up.

What's your "big bike"? I have a CB500X and a NX400 and I want a Monkey 125 😀 It's so beautiful and seems so much fun.

@@tiagofigueiredo2529 I had an Indian FTR1200 brilliant bike but not great for city commuting... The Monkey was recently t-boned and written off. I was a sitting duck :( One downside to it is it's visual presence on the road. Too many cars where not seeing me or seeing me very late. Going back to a larger motorcycle now with more height and size and acceleration.

Id guess as a 125cc fuel injection it should get near to 100mpg (imperial) so 150 miles from a 1.5 gallon tank

Shame about the price though. I think Honda missed the mark on that $3,999.00 US. You can find a nice used bike for $4k

not that expensive for what you get. It cost about the same as taking my 998 in for maintenance twice.

Did you check the top speed? I know that's not the point of the bike, just want to know if it would be possible to take a short jaunt on a 55mph road to connect to another back road.

Yes, of course, I think my top speed was around 65mph, downhill, with the wind behind me lol, but seriously, 55mph is easily achieved.
