Just came across this week and have binged watched the first 5 days - love this series! Just goes to prove that the best bike is the one in your garage and that you can have an adventure on any bike (2007 Vespa PX 200 rider)!
When I first came across your channel, It was because I saw monkey bikes mentioned, I am looking to buy one and seeing this massive undertaking on such small bikes I just had to follow your adventure. I think it's a fantastic achievement and enjoyed every minute so far. Now, if only they made a 200cc Monkey...............
Thank you for the comment pal! I would defo recommend getting on the monkey fun!! We are dropping the EU tour soon so hope you enjoy that one too! I’m surprised Honda haven’t done a bigger engine option as I think this really would take off and give the bikes that bit more! I know there bore kits but like you say a 200cc or maybe a 250 would be so much fun! Cheers
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this videos well did it’s giving me inspiration to do a made adventure. You’re lucky to be mad as a hat and have each other to do the journey. Many years ago I just wanted to do the east coast to the west coast but none of my riding buddies were up for it. Now being 42 I think it may be time to start planning something mad We only live once Well done 👍🏼
We only live once and life’s for living! Is hard to find good friends to go with but sometimes less is more. Hope you get out and enjoy your trip! Cheers for the support!
Just found this to, I also binge watched the first 5!! Just a note though, that lighthouse isn’t John O’Groats, it’s at Dunnet Head. Dunnet Head is the northern most point of the Scottish, and British, mainland. Great series! Really making me want a monkey!!!
That was your best episode yet! I'm taking a C125 from Dover to John O'Groats next month and your video was really useful. I'll definitely need some decent tent pegs with winds like that.... 😂😂😂 Well done guys. 👏🏼
Loving these vids, although you seem to have left out applecross or is that a later vid of it's own. Hope you make it to John o grotes next vid. I used to drive that route once a week for years so it's great to see the roads again.
Thanks pal. We did ride though a lot did my best to document what I could, I’m still learning as I go. More videos to come glad your enjoy the adventure with us
@@carbonairpitbikes it's some of the best stuff around, looking forward to following your adventures. Fair play I couldn't do it on monkeys, not even on my Harley.
If yous get a chance stop at achmelvich bay near Lochinver on the west coast stunning beach and in Lochinver youve hot Lochinver larder for a expensive but tasty pie. Did a 13hr shift on the bike today over to Fort William was telling my mate about your trip was hoping to bump into yous but probably not that far round yet.
Inspired me to buy another monkey bike. Had the yellow 69 plate but now going for the blue brand new. Are you going down through Yorkshire next week as I will be up there visiting family and would love to meet you both. I live in north Devon and cannot wait to buy my bike now. Cannot believe how well you have both done.
Both have intake and exhaust mods to open the power up. Upgraded the coils and iridium spark plugs. Also played with the gearing. Clutch upgrades too. Cheers pal
The roads along the East coast of Scotland are so much better to ride everyone I know says that they prefer the west coast so I reckon I’m the exception 😮but all the same Scotland 🏴 is a biker dream 😊
