Performance difference? Also, I don’t remember what jets you used after you installed the MNNTB intake….did you re-jet after the hot lap install? If so, what did you go with? I have my intake in, but waiting on jets and hot lap. Right now it’s running like shit. Jet kit should be here in a day or 2, hot lap hopefully in a week or so. I’m planning on replacing jets for now so it will run better until exhaust arrives and I’ll have to replace jets again…. Lovin the channel btw!
Thanks for support. I used a 88 main before exhaust. You will also need to de-cap the AF screw and adjust the mix. Didn't up jet the main because carb kit coming in soon from Scooter Swap Shop.
@@SCMOTO Maybe some Navi enthusiast/RU-vidr will include air/fuel screw adjustment in one of his upcoming vids…..wink wink. I have the intake in with a 90 main and 38 pilot. Don’t have exhaust yet, but didn’t have the 88 main to put in in the interim…. Tried turning af screw to adjust, but running poorly. Have a tach on and idle is all over the place. Also just put the Malossi variator and contra spring in too, but can’t see how that would make any difference at idle.
@@sammisdaddy This is the way I have done it. First Step: Get the bike warmed up (at least 5 minutes). Second Step: Adjust the idle screw until you hit 1700 rpm ( it will bounce from 1650-1750). Third Step: with the bike off turn the AF screw all the way in (closed) then back it out 2 full turns. Start the bike and see where you are at. (let it run for about 1 minute before you check) Fourth Step: Adjust the AF screw until the bike no longer stumbles or gasp. Step Five: Repeat step 2 if needed and adjust AF screw if needed until the bike balances out. Last Step: Drive the bike around going up to 1/4 throttle. If it does not stumble (rich) or choke out/backfire (lean) you got it made.
I’m about this but this exhaust bit before I can please tell me difference besides price. NAVI 2022 RACE MINI RS-2 WORKS FINISH STAINLESS FULL SYSTEM WITH CARBON MUFFLER
I bought mirror extenders they where $20 Canadian so Us $ will be cheaper . Also noted that the whole parking brake assembly mirror mount position is located closer to center then the right mirror.
I own a Honda Airblade 125cc LED scooter and i cant tell u a bit about such hondas and small discplacement bikes cuz where i live law limits us to 150cc 4 stroke or 100cc 2 stroke so its all i know basically. Most honda engines share the base engine from the Honda Lead, which was a 100cc 4 stroke making about 8bhp. In truth, tmost honda engines are based on this one,, or are the same engine but more unrestricted. Typically the engine can produce 15bhp and achieve 95mph at 12,000rpm when fully unrestricted. The bike models come with varying differences such as carb or pgmfi or airbox design n exhaust design etc which all restrict performance to suit their desired category market of scooter.. cdi normally restricts the rpm to about 8000rpm in stock models to enable long distance cruising at 50mph or highway speed. Some models with more bhp reach 10k rpm. My airblade had 11bhp stock and 75mph, and Navi has around 7 or 8bhp stock. With an airbox mod that acts a like ram air turbo, and using royal purple engine oil, my airblade has what feels like twice the power and acceleration. You shoukd try that out, and get gear wheels and clutch springs and weights to tune the rpm and speed and gearing of your navi engine. You can probably get more bhp out of it, maybe as much as 15bhp, and u can probly hit 70mph with minor modding
I am waiting for carb kit to get here from Scooter Swap Shop. Currently running a 88 main and it does feel flat up top so more than likely if I were to keep stock carb and MNNTHBX intake I would jet up to 90 main.
@@SCMOTO can I buy a polini cp and keep the original intake, I'm worried about water. What other items will I have to buy if just purchasing the carb alone to make it work on the navi. Subscribed
@@escoot_nyc1651 you would need to purchase a throttle cable, intake manifold adapter (scooter swap sales them), and a intake that will fit the carb (factory intake tube diameter way too small and air box will not breath enough for 22mm carb).
@@estebancarrillo399 If you have ideas to install a fuel injection system later or using a wide band then get the bung. If you are keeping the carb then not needed. I didn't get one. If you are not sure you can get the bung and cap it with a bolt.
@@SCMOTO 😁😁 better takeoff then and more grunt😁 since its a carb engine a little port and polish on the head will give it more uhmppf .. higher capacity ignition coil and better sprkplug better rpm response😁
@@SCMOTO Normally the sipes on the rear are supposed to be opposite of the way the sipes face on the front tire, to push water and dirt out from the contact patch of the tire as it rotates and when leaned over ( except for the front which pulls inward so you don't break traction when leaned over and the frond end washes out ), keeping the grip surface as clean and clear of debris as it can. The the way it's facing, those sipes will be doing the exact opposite, pulling everything into the path of the contact patch, and could create a break in the rear tires surface grip and cause a low side or high side. MRF Zapper FG, Directional, but with that big center sipe being the whole circumference of the tire to keep water and dirt from breaking traction ( either from during braking or to prevent hydroplaning ), the way the sipes face along with the direction of the arrow on the side wall, that it's ment to be a front tire although their website doesn't specify this. Look at other motorcycle tires, the sipes on the rear always point outward away from the center, even if it's center sipe is completely around it the outer sipes face outward and away by design ( unless it's design is more like a trials tire or like the Pirelli MT Rt 66 tire ), they basically put two front tires on that bike, sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

@@IrnMaiden304 Yeah I understand that but myself and others have tried mounting the rear tire with the sips in the normal direction and the bike became completely unstable. I agree the tires used are odd and in my opinion not fit for a toddler toy. Until I can source proper tires though I will have to continue using them.
@@SCMOTO what was the top speed you were getting when it was stock? I’m thinking if you can go near 60 after mods, I should get a bit more than the stock 54mph on mine
@@autoreviews2526 Somewhere between 52-54 but I started modding before the first "break in" was complete. I believe some are hitting 55 after about 600-700 miles are put on the bike.
