Honda NC 750X DCT engine noise. 

Yes, i am at the same boat with you. The thing is that the dealer's mechanic when he had a listen to it said that couse there were some reports of faulty cam tensioners it is wise to change the one in my bike and adjust the valve clearence if needed under warranty just in case without knowing if there is a real problem. Is this a good decision ? Maybe trying to fix something that it isn't broken on a new bike.

@@dimosthenismagos7982 If the mechanic at the dealership is saying it needs to be done and it’s under warranty, it’s probably best to take their advice. Or alternatively, you could ride it for a while and see if it gets noticeably worse and then have them look at it again. In any case, make sure the dealer approves and makes notes in your account so you don’t void your warranty by going against their advice.

@@semisonic86 while they are not sure if there is a problem but they are willing to make some kind of inspection under warranty i think they are honest. Thinking that valve adjusting valve clearance is a maintence work that came a little early but can't do any harm if it's done properly. The cam tensioner replacement will only take away any conserns of a faulty component.

Thanks for the comment. There is no rattle so the tapping noise is normal i suppose.
