Another enjoyable ride out Alex with plenty of coffee to fight of the chill, I couldn't believe the drop in air temperature from Sunday to Monday. I enjoyed the drone footage it's a pity it got curtailed but safe flying means we can still enjoy the freedom when the skies and weather allow. I look forwards to trying to get some bike shots whenever time and weather allow.

Morning Al, as you say it would be lovely to get a couple of nice days on the trot, but if it's dry at the moment I'll take that as a win. More rain again here today. That view was lovely after you'd turned round and headed back to see the water, even more scenic from the air. Hope you didn't have too many shandy's with ya mates😁😁

Hi Alex, another good ride, have to admit I always fast forward when drone video is shown unless it is some spectacular scenery. Getting your CAA codes won't make you a safer flyer but you should at least know the laws and rules involved. Unlike some think it is not just a money making thing as the cost will barely cover the paperwork involved but was brought on by the massive amount of irresponsible drone guiders around the world. (Note they are not flying them , the flying is done by the onboard computer flight controller, all they do is disturb the hovering in the hope it will go where they want it to. I have a quadcopter and a tricopter which do have to be flown all of the time as they only have very basic flight stability controllers, no self hovering, no return to home etc.) As you know I fly radio control models and had to take a safety and flying test before I was allowed to fly on my own. I then took a more advanced flying test that covers me to fly in public and much larger models. (I fly Turbine powered jets) I also have third party insurance for flying with a several million pound cover.

Good morning Alex, As you've found a nice day for a ride it's raining Cats & Dogs here. I also have the Mavic 2 . Its a wonderfull drone and will give great results in windy conditions. The CAA registration is just another money making racket. They say if you have something you haven't used for a while you probably won't ever use it again so better to get the items sold. I have many such items. Have you ever tried out the tracking / follow mode where you can have the drone follow you as you ride along. I'm sure the Bacon roll went down well.
