I am going to try this on my non running unit. I already ordered a new $22 carb. I could see the choke wasn't closing completely, but this may be the answer.
@@pattayperformance I never installed it, but was able to figure out the choke issue though. I'll get it done in the spring when things warm up. Thanks for checking. I have a Honda mower and changing the carb out made all the difference.
My wife thought I should have made a compilation video from last year. Told her it would be too long 😂 I keep the good, bad and ugly on here. Shows we are all human! Even thought I try really hard to avoid stuff like this😂
For the most part these come with junk engines. I bought on brand new with a Briggs motor After about ten hours use the engine wouldn't start and had 30 psi compression. The second one was given to me. Same thing except it was a Honda engine.
So these small engines have a compression release valve and will emite low compression readings. You need to do a leak down test. You also need to take into account...nothing is perfect! Were you able to warranty out the motor/machine?
Too cold out for you , need to have a heated workshop someway . Burr .......Nice looking rig ...... I have an old Honda push mower with the same manual chock setup and it works well , it's one that had too install a new chock cable installed . Thanks for the video .....You audio was screwing up with music only .
Sorry I wasn’t clear...had a microphone malfunction. I think the batteries died since it’s wireless. Either got too cold and shut it down and/sucked the life out them. My iPhone shuts down when it gets too cold. It happens...so instead of losing the video I just music over it so it wasn’t a silent movie. Videos like this that when I finally do get the work shop of my dreams...forever greatful! Don’t get it twisted...on a nice day I will be back to roots in the driveway 🔧🤙🏻🦅🇺🇸
I could easily understand how someone could not notice the difference in diameter of that choke cable clamp. And I couldn't believe that little bit of movement resulted in an engine no start. I think you cranked down ( lowered ) the vac to much before you started vacuuming the leaves. Also, it looked like the machine was clogged. There were twigs mixed in with the leaves. At one point it was blowing the leaves instead of sucking them up. Also the machine would have an easier time with the leaves spread out than in a pile.
So we are in agreement that the Billy Goat 10HP Vac is best for my application! Great minds think a like! That little bit of movement was also the reason of the explosion and fire from the last video! Make that mistake once! 😂
The performance on minute 19 was not all that great, because the bag that is used on video gets clogged with dust really easy so instead of a vacuum it starts to blow. You got to use different kind of bag.
Thank you! Didn’t know there are two different types of bags. I have a bigger version BG that is also on the channel as well. It needed a new bag and I bought it. Break in process as per manual is to let the machine run anywhere from 10-30 mins to break In the bag for best performance. I appreciate the view and comment, hopefully you subscribed to my channel 🤙🏻🔧🦅🇺🇸
