Honda Ridgeline - Locking Tailgate Installation 

In this video, I walk through the steps and tools required to install a locking tailgate handle on a 2nd Generation Honda Ridgeline (2017).. These early years of Gen. 2 did not have a locking tailgate, but one can be added with a few parts ordered from Honda parts
This modification initially cost about $100 for the parts.
Parts required:
08Z07-T6Z-100D Tailgate Lock, Cylinder
08Z07-T6Z-120E Tailgate Lock Handle, Lunar Silver Metallic NH830M
(make sure you select the part number for your matching paint code)
Tools required:
Ratchet with short extension
10mm socket
Torx T30 bit
phillips screwdriver
Rubber mallet
small flat blade - for removing plastic clips
