Wow! Very impressive tear down /rebuild. You’re talented. I’m curious though, after it’s all apart why not inspect the balance of the crankshaft? And replace connecting rods/bearings and rebalance. If crankshaft is overly worn engine won’t last long. Regards.
The rebuild is interesting! No machining needed on a 35 - 40 year old engine? Maybe did not show or your just lucky! Every time I've rebuild a engine it required a trip to the machine shop and new bearings.
Hi can some help me with the bearing and oil seal sizes? Total 6 bearings (2 are same sizes) Total 5 oil seal. Maybe these parts can be purchased in India or Sri Lanka. But difficult to source them here in the UK. Maybe someone would sell and post to the UK. Would need pistons, cam chain and cam guide too. Let me know. Thanks Alvin
