Found a few from US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada and even one in full English speaker from Japan. They are always a joy to watch so keep searching.
8th generation honda si are one of the best generations of the Hondas built 👍. A lot of potential and will become a classic car worth a lot of money some day very soon
I love these and I didn't even realise it until about 4 months ago when I drove the white one you had. I knew within the first 50 metres and 3 gear shifts that i was driving something special. The connection between the gearing and the engines revs is perfection. Nigel.
I only issued are the A pillars. They can be a blind spot for me. Of course, my type R isn’t much of a type R anymore. It’s fully built with lightweight Brian Crower, internals and a 5.4 final drive. A lot of fun to drive.
love the vid man! here in the philippines we got a regular FD 2.0 with a K20A, obviously not the same Type R k20 but Im bout to pick one up real soon! Had one in the past with the 1.8 R18 in it and even that was a load of fun to drive, then had a Accord with a K20A but it felt like driving a boat so I wasnt to keen on it
I love my 8th Gen Civic Si. It’s the 2 door FG2, it’s only got 23k miles on it. It’s the Ultimate drivers car. With a Catback Exhaust, intake, and a Tune these cars become screamers.
According to Beat Motoring the only reviewers i really believed this is by far the best Type R ever made. People talking about turbo and power mods will never understand a Type R anyway.
Yep! NA power mods are spectacularly cost ineffective, but I think they are much more interesting than turbo power mods. Given the FD2 already comes with nearly all the good stuff (officially 225bhp, actually 240bhp already?), I guess there is not that much to actually "power mod"? Throttle body from a J35, port the RRC to match, drop-in cams and 70mm exhaust (and tune) and call it a day maybe? That should be around 255-265bhp I guess (maybe more with the higher stock compression than other K20s), which is pretty spectacular for a mass production 2.0L engine? Are there are benefits to aftermarket headers on the FD2R? I guess it's like the S2000 and the stock headers are already extremely good, so an aftermarket header has to be very well designed to be an improvement and not make it worse than stock?
If money wasn't an issue, i would pick FL5 with all the convenience tech & high HP from the standard setup. FL5 is gorgeous but FD2 is handsome n something feels good when it scream vtec 😆
All Champ White FN2's came with LSD and they appeared late 2008. Then from April 2010 most model FN2's came with LSD standard so most 60 plates and all 11 plates. 🤓 Riveting i know 😂
