Today I show you our Honda Shadow Bobber project that we're working on. Got this reliable little motorcycle for $1,200 and we threw $150 of parts on it and hacked off the rear end. It's not a horsepower or torque monster but it may be the best in town, run around cruiser I've had. This bike already came with the Cobra exhaust system so of coarse we do a sound check, and these VLX's are one of the best sound cruisers of all time. These Honda shadow's can make a great bobber or cafe racer project with them having a mono shock rear suspension system, and it's very easy to install a solo seat, handlebars, grips, brake light / headlight, anyone with a basic tool kit can do it yourself. I've done quite a few of these bobbers, Kawasaki Vulcan, Suzuki Boulevard, Honda Shadow / Nighthawk, Yamaha Virago / Maxim / VStar, and all the Japanese bikes are pretty much the same. Any size is just as easy as the next, 250 300 450 500 600 650 700 750 800 900 1000 1100 1200 1300 1500 1600 1700 1800, it doesn't matter!
