The HMF™ exhausts for the Honda® Talon 1000 R/X are available as a Dual Full System in the Performance and Titan series and a Slip-On in the Titan series. All available HMF™ exhausts take advantage of HMF's™ superior engineering to produce unmatched durability, sound, power and torque. All systems retain the OEM oxygen sensor for optimum drivability.
Dual Full System - Performance & Titan Series
The 4" aluminum Performance Series picks up 9 hp and 4 ft-lbs of torque while reducing the weight of the entire exhaust system by 10 lbs. The 5" stainless steel Titan series is available in our QS (quiet) and XL (loud) internal core design. The Titan series reduces the weight of the entire exhaust system by 5 lbs. The Performance and Titan XL Full systems are 6 dB louder than stock at idle, while the Titan QS is 4 dB louder than stock at idle. The dual center exit design protects the entire system within the frame of the vehicle and produces an amazing sound and look.
Slip On System - Titan Series
The 5" stainless steel Titan Slip On System retains a similar layout as the stock exhaust while still retaining the signature HMF™ design. The Slip On System picks up 3 hp and 3 ft-lbs of torque and reduces the weight of the exhaust system by 9 lbs. The Titan XL Slip On system is 5 dB louder than stock at idle, and the Titan QS is only 2 dB above stock.

The exhaust sounds awesome, definitely going on my wish list. But in the immediate future, where can I get that tailgate/spare tire rack shown on the Red Talon X?

Thanks. The Spare Tire Rack on the back was an R&D prototype we were working on. It didn't hold up to our standards when we were riding so we modified it to our current one.

at 0:26 did you fabricate that spare tire mount or can it be found somewhere online? I have your tailgate and I'm looking to add the spare tire to it.

We get that question a lot! That was actually a prototype we designed that didn't hold up during testing. The weight of the tire was too much for the design. We did however redesign it to a platform style. You lose some of the cargo space, but it also encloses the space in case you need to do so. Fuel Tuning is absolutely required when installing an HMF Exhaust on this machine. Failure to tune the engine can cause excessive damage to the exhaust system and engine, while voiding the warranty on your exhaust and possibly on your machine. (check with local dealer). See the tuning settings below for the proper fuel tuning solution on your machine.

@@MaverickR89 Yes, the hp gains are very noticeable. This setup is adding over 10% more power to the wheels. No testing with other intake systems has been conducted, so at this time we cannot speak for additional gains with modified air intakes

I hate the sound of the titan series when it shifts, its goes silent for a second then you hear it again. That's just weird! They both sound great except for that weird cut out on the Titan when shifting

I don’t think that’s the exhaust, that’s probably the DCT. The engine is cutting fuel til it engages the gear and then you’re hearing it open back up.
