Beautiful. 20 years ago I drive through a very similar storm going from Alamagordo through Carrizozo up through Corona. Great video. I agree tap that filter out it looks like it could go another 1400 miles!
I have a 2018 xp4 high lifter edition and just having a set of snorkels made a big difference on my airfilter life. My previous 2016 xp4 airfilter would be filled with dust every 20hrs without the snorkels. My highlifter always seems to have less than half the dust when cleaning it and the only difference is the snorkels.
I did. And no they work great. I got the idea after seeing another talon at the dealership with aftermarket tires on the stock wheels. Thanks for the view

Jaxon1127 because it’s not compatible with the turbo kit yet. I’ll sit down with Jackson Racing tomorrow and ask when they’ll release the parts to make it work
Do you have to run the fan on the S&B for it to draw in air while riding? Just like in this video with zero dust conditions, I would think you wouldn't have to turn the exhaust fan on and still be able to ride.
Hey Ray, really enjoy your videos. Couple of questions. 1. Heat in the cabin. I watched another review on the Talon and they commented the heat from the engine in the cabin was high. Living in AZ, I’m curious as to what your experience has been? 2. Instrument presentation. Another review said it was very poor. I’ve only seen a Talon on the show room floor, but it does look to be very minimal. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
we hit triple digits here in the summer, not bad cabin heat as long as you have a flip up windshield and not just a solid one....as far as Instrumentation. it is pretty basic.
My air filter looked considerably worse than your pre-partical seperator filter after maybe 20 miles of dusty gravel road riding and a couple hours in the sand. Im sure the practical seperator does a great job, but I just don't like the looks or the idea of the whirring fan behind my head or the $500.
You say done nothing to the vehicle. Other than fluids. How many miles total? No ball joints, bushings, wheel bearings, axles, drive shaft, u joints, spring sag, nothing...? I'm a RZR owner and I'm tired of the freaking maintenance.
Joshua Bright Hey buddy, been doing the SXS thing since the Rhino came out in 2004. I’m part of a very large “Dune” group and I can tell you the RZR’s have problems that just are not seen on the Talon and YXZ. Not “talking smack” here is just the truth...the performance of the RZR’s are impressive but just don’t hold up as well...
Throw an outro in ur videos sir... Some 30second drone footage of ur talon riding off ona trail. This will allow u to throw in some end cards and links to ur previous videos or ur most related. 😬 for those of us that want to binge watch all ur amazing content!
Honda make a great product, however, I usto be a true fan of Honda until they started discontinuing parts for there machines, so I dont even entertain anything to do with Honda. I now only buy Yamaha machines, I have never had a problem buying parts and they make an exceptional product. I hope Honda helps you fix your car and to can get back out there.
