Glad to see this thing in the road! As for the tps, I don’t know if you can do it to the Honda tps but back in the day all my buddies had 5.0 mustangs and would always have tps issues when switching to larger throttle bodies. We used to just use a drill or round file to slightly oblong the bolt holes in the sensor to allow us to twist it while we have a multimeter on it to calibrate it to the new throttle angle. Hope that makes sense. Anyway what’s funny is we started finding out that even from the factory some of the tps signals were off by as much as 10%. Sometimes we could pick up some power up top on a factory setup by doing this so the ecu knew it was at 100% throttle. Anyway, just something to try if you haven’t got it fixed yet. 😉

you nailed it, when the pcm is seeing 5.00v when you go wide open throttle, it trips the code. anything over 4.5 to 4.6 volts is no good. since it's a 5v vref sensor circut, if the pcm see's 5v it thinks the circut/senor is shorted to ground. get a stop on it so it doesnt go over 4.5volts and your are good.
He said it wast broken off so he would have known where to put it. His calibration read correctly so there was no guess work. I imagine whatever issues you're having with your tps isn't the same as his.
great video i gotta do my tps on my b20b swap i was just thinking damn how do i calibrate a tps and on my notification i see ur video pop up so thank u
When you do a b series swap for Ef chassis you need 90-93 Integra parts to make it easier like throttle cable and bracket looks more stock fits better and also clutch cable so no hack weld it’s bolt on and also shift link you have to cut and weld what shift linkage are you using it might be your shifting problem
I've had some idling issues with my 2001 Accord. Noticed that it still had the factory TPS with break away screws and thought it could not hurt to change it. Removed the throttle body, cleaned, installed new TPS, calibrated (.52v close/ 4.43v open), and now the car won't start??? Cranks fine. Even tried the old TPS. Is there and ECU reset or otherwise? Kind of running out of ideas. Cheers.
Will a bad cracked tps couse my b20 turbo to go in limp mode? Giving me a hard time starting and wont go over 3k noticed it couse i blew my last block up and swaped in for another b20 went to start it sounded like shit went down the block and wouldnt let me pass 3k max would hit 2 step .... btw love your vids very talented bro keep up the grea work
This channel really needs more views, keep it up man. You ever mess with 4.6s 2v or 4vs? Thats pretty much the only engine I actually know how to work on and no channel on youtube uses them :( sucks I wanna mess around with ls stuff in the future planning to ls swap a v6 sn95 later on although Im considering a mark vii engine
Keepo Hdee funny you say that. I am currently working on a 2000 f150 with a 2v 5.4. I HATE THESE THINGS. Lol has loud valvetrain noise on the passenger side. Any tips?

HunterTuned lol Im the farthest thing from a mechanic that can troubleshoot anything I just sort of know how to take em apart and know my way around them, you should make vids of the 2v if you end up taking apart the heads to check them
