When I got this bike, the rear shocks were stiff and I finally got time to take a look at them. I would go over a bump then the shock would compress and stay compressed until I was able to get some weight off the bike.
I pulled the shocks apart and found the problem, it rides much better now.
The procedure would be the same for the Trail 110 also.
