Here is my Honda vt 750cc with Vance & Hines loud pipes and bit of Modifications such as flat rear fender & tale light to make it look bobber fat end !!!
Great looking & sounding Shadow my friend, I really like how it came out. My cruiser bike is a Shadow Aero with custom drag pipes, modified airbox, custom fuel tuning, CB900 clutch springs, rear Seat & pegs Delete with some other mild weight reduction. The end result is a HUGE improvement over the stock bike. One thing about the fuel tuning though; while it isn't 100% necessary to tune after added the exhaust it is highly reccomended in order to get the maximum effect. The difference in how my bike ran properly tuned vs on the stock tune was night and day; throttle response was better, acceleration was stronger and seamless at all RPM plus fuel mileage increased a noticeable 4-5 MPG. Not to mention the bike picked up an extra 4.6 HP at the rear wheel tuned vs stock, and any HP gain is welcome in my garage!
Man that thing (looks and) sounds awesome! Nice bike! We just bought a 2002 Shadow Spirit 750 from it's original owner (a friend),take possession this week, can't WAIT (it has Vance and Hines exhaust as well). LOL,we also have a dark grey metallic (not sure of the paint name/code) Mazda 3 sedan (mine, hers is an FJ Cruiser),same shade as the one in your video. Mine's an '05 though,a bit older than yours. It was a low miles 1 owner fully loaded 2.3L car though :) (sorry to ramble on :P )
I'm going to buy a Shadow soon in the same colour and same brand as yours. I'm going to do the same as you did in the rear so beautiful! I just LOVE your Bike. Keep it up ! Ride safe
Slash Cuts are Cobra's .....The Vance & Hines version are called Cruzers......I have Cruzers on my 750 and I actually like this sound better...your Slash Cuts sound is a little more deeper than the Cruzers.....thanks Gill for posting!
Beautiful Bike...I just got a 2020 Honda Shadow Phantom 750 with only 300 original miles on it😁...I love this bike... Yours looks and sounds great! I wish you will enjoy her for many years to come! 👍🏾 Have a great evening! Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
Is your rear fender attached to the swing arm or to fender struts? It's hard to tell, the rear fender support suggests the former but the seat suggests the later.
Really cool bike, I’m trying to change my rear fender and relocate the lights and license plate, I 1:55 just came across your video, and I was wondering if you could tell where did you buy your flat fender and what else you had buy to fit it properly , and lastly are you able to ride with a passenger with your setup ? Thanks in advance
Is your bike fuel injected or carbeurated? If carbeurated, did you rejet the carb? Also, is the vance & hines exhaust modified or does it come as it looks on your bike? And lastly, your bike is awesome and the sound is great.
Depends on the year. From 97 to 07 there were a bunch of Shadow 750 models with single-pin engines that all sound like this. After that, Honda started phasing in new versions with offset pins that no longer have the rumble.
Great looking bike man, good work on the rear fender, love the shotgun shell casings! Exhaust wraps look tops as well. I've just started looking at these.....do you ever find it's underpowered for quick overtaking or getting away a bit at the lights?
Hey bud, great look and sound.Just a bit confused , I google SLASH CUT EXHAUST HONDA VT750 SHADOW AERO 2004-2012 but keep getting cobra exhausts??Can you confirm cobra or V&H and where u ordered them through?Want go order some but make sure I get right ones,CheersNugget
I want to put some louder pipes on my 2014 Spirit, the stock pipes just don't have that rumble I need, but it's fuel injected. Can I just put new pipes on or do the fuel injectors need to be readjusted? I love what you did to the back too, is that still the stock seat?
+Professor Monkeyface Ph.D. In his warmer state they didn't need to be adjusted. Although I bet he still has issues starting. Any colder area and you will need to get a Dynojet or the like to increase the fuel at start up.
Hi, love the sound. Love the looks of the bike. Can I ask you a question? I am interested in buying a vt750 dc. I am just 5.5ft. Will I fit this bike? You look like a tall man. Thanks.
Do you know for a fact the FI bikes don't need an add on fuel management system to compensate for the new exhaust? I've got a FI 750 Shadow and there seems to be conflicting opinions on that. Are you still running the factory O2 sensors in your exhaust?
@@rickywhite7578 yes because on a 2 stroke the exhaust can make the bike faster so you have to rejet on a 4 stroke not its just another sound so no rejetting
@@greenorbit7008 ah ok. Very nice area there! Cause the plates of the cars were unknown for me. Hehe. Me I am from Germany. I'am driving a Honda Rebel 250 ccm.
guys what is that sound you hear at 2:25 for like 3 seconds as the motorcycle drives by its not the exhaust but what is it !!! can you reduce this sound its such a turn off !!!!
It's just engine noise in the trans/clutch because he shifted down into 1st possibly... Which is a big no-no. Never shift into first unless you are stopped or going slower than 5 mph
That sound is from the bike. Read the other replies. In addition it's not that loud and cannot even hear it over the sound of the exhaust but the microphone managed to capture it.
