Seems like quite the hassle to start. My xr400r doesn't have a decompression lever since it was taken off and in a 0° cold start all I have to do is kick 3 times softly then find top dead center and lastly one actual kick and it has started every time without having to actually kick it multiple times, I don't even have to use the choke or blip the throttle to start it surprisingly.
Dude. Turn the fuel off after every ride and let the carb run dry. Turn it on when you go to start it, choke on. Get the kick to to top of the stroke, done. I dunno what you were doing there!
Nice video!! Bro: another little tip: Keep your foot on the kick starter, take a jump and put your body weight on your foot!! Don't just push down on it with your leg. 👍👌
Nice video but i feel like your starting technique needs a little help. Especially when u just started to kick it though hahah. i think i have a video on my channel on how to do it. Once you get to TDC, go down one inch then come backk up and kick it through one time should start up every time.
