Aliens: Dark Decent is to Aliens what Alien: Isolation was to Alien. It's captures the thrill just perfectly. If you don't hate RTS or the franchise, give it a go! For real!

I hope they make tons of DLC's, with more missions, continuing the main one or pursuing others, and it would be really epic a DLC with content from the original movies, maybe a Fiorina or LV426 raid by the marines to investigate what happened, or a skirmish in earth recounting the comics "earth wars"!

One of the better games of 2023. They truly managed to capture the atmosphere perfectly. Being challenging is also part of its charm. Definitely want more.

Yeah, separating the character/unit creation from the fighting really changes things. Mainly because you can't build up a powerful economy then send your peons to their deaths willy nilly. Allows you to have a lot more nuance to the character management. I wish more people could look past the camera angle.
