No, Ashley gets in the way at some weird points of combat.

They got a lot of hate when it originally released so i doubt they'll remake it

Yeah. I have noticed that they don't say the title anymore when starting a new game and it feels like something important is missing.

Before his transformation. Leon always got whoop everytime he’s on screen lol

a lot was made worst, designs, colors, areas, missing content, etc

⁠@@dontbothertoreply9755I think a lot of those are subjective, as I personally like the designs and colors of the Remake better than the original (the original graphics are nostalgic but man, the village is so brown in that one that the color basically became monochrome for me lmao). I also like the castle and Island more in the Remake as well, the level design feels tighter and better paced in my opinion, and the added set pieces in the castle were great and gave it more memorable moments. I can see how some of the cut content can be a negative for people, but I believe that some cut things (like the cut bossfight) will come back in the eventual “Separate Ways” DLC.

Only thing that drives me nuts is repeat pulls from the prize machine

The only parts of the shooting range that suck are the ones with the TMP and Striker. The spread isn’t consistent, so sometimes I wouldn’t hit something I was obviously aiming at

I think that point is valid for 5. But i think 6 deserves a redemption. The only good campaign was Leons. Jake is an interesting character that deserves a second chance. But having him be basically superman was a bit ridiculous.

I think 6 can even more benefit, repurposing the story to be more serious would make it work Thats the only RE game where all the stars of the franchise meets and interact so its kinda a good thing they could fix it Also re6 have the better tps mechanics in all RE, so maybe they should tweak it a bit to be on par with re4 remake Re6 is still the only game of RE that have shoulder switch (character doesnt have to be ambidextrous, much like grfs, camera switch is all we need, but its alright if they retain ambidextrous)

The modders community are always great with Resident Evil games, there's already a shirtless Leon mod even on the demo lmao

thats just your experience, in general ashley gets captured way more in the remake, enemies are faster and more aggressive, because its balanced around Leon being faster and the new parry and stuff

​​@@Spillow-C proper spacing and positioning wouldnt cost you to have ashley get caught Og re4 is kinda harder because of how ashley also have health to consider, but here all you need is to not make her in contact with any enemies

@@crisschan2463 that's not the point, of course of you have a lot of time to waste on a game to get good at everything of course she doesn't get caught, og ashley is harder just about the health part, enemies as slow as f so you stay steady in a position and kill everyone with her behind you, is that like this in the remake? NO, so she gets captured more in "general".

It will be very scary if you got a bear trap and saw the chainsaw man prepare to pierce you from behind. I swear that bear trap in front of Chief House is 100% hit to me no matter how many time I replay 😢

So do I, loved it playing co op with my pal at the time. But lets just say... it didnt age well. It truly would be better just REMAKE the game instead of making a remake of it. Still have Chris and Sheeva but have them traveling around the world or something with the exact same plot. They can still be in Africa for a level but the game just CANT only take place there in todays culture.

It took way too long for me to realize how creepy John Lennon's "Happiness is a Warm Gun" was. I think this was after I noticed the lyrics of, "Pumped Up Kicks" was about shooting. (gawd, that came out in 2010!)

Thats surface level of modding, skyrim modding proves it long time ago its just not, with dedicated community, it can even par a full fledge expansion (re4 have a scary mod called "resident evil world s")

@@crisschan2463 I don’t give those mods the time of day. I use mods that improve graphics, performance, or add substantial content to the game.

They dont actually need to remake anything but 5 and 6 would be necessary, to complement the whole seriousness thay are taking head on But revelation all plays well, it was the first re that breaks too much action in the first place even before re7, also the controls are similar to the remakes so it doesnt need it one bit

For RE5 Remake, they simply need to do some tweaks like what they did for RE4R. RE6 is where they need to absolutely overhaul everything. Except the combat probably, that was fun
