When the game was announced, I had hopes that it'd be good. I'm mature enough to admit when I was wrong.

They disassembled MW 2019 into the bag of things that made that game good, and the bag of things that did not, and they sure did use one of those bags.

To be fair, the Germans did have a tredded drone bomb they deployed in WWII. That is the sum total of all defense I have for Call of Duty for crying out loud it still looks like the old PS2 Call of Dutys. Yes, that last sentence was written as intended. Exasperation is a difficult emotion to convey through text. The drone thing is true though. It was called the Goliath Tracked Bomb, and it carried a 75-100kg bomb in it. The Soviets also had one called the Teletank that used machine guns and flamethrowers. They were used in the Winter War against Finland and on the Eastern Front against Germany.

After several matches on Vanguard, I happily went back to Calculus homework.

3:00 This is why I never understood why people kept buying new COD games just for multiplayer. There's almost nothing different in each game. It's just running around and shooting each other in the face, no matter how many new mechanics or game modes they add. Atleast in single player there's different stories and characters.

I miss the days when COD had the balls to be controversial in its campaigns.

I miss Cold War already. Give me Russian mastermind’s, covert agents, spy rings, Nuclear Armageddon tension, and in the multiplayer an ensemble cast of freaks that wouldn’t look out of place in a G.I. Joe comic. WW2 just ain’t scratching that itch, unless they involve Captain America and Hellboy. Karl Ruprect Kroenen in Call of Duty, make it so!

When I saw the trailer i thought the game would be like an anthology story with different povs of lesser praised people in the war. -Polish resistance -Harlem Firefighters -Canadian and Australian soldiers on Dday -Indians fighting the Japanesse -The British in North Africa There's more to WW2 then a plain face white soldier from Kentucky or Stalingrad fighting Germans.

Every WW2 COD at this point is just a reminder how perfect World at War actually was. The proper COD experience died after MW3/BO2. Everything past that was crap shovelled with the name.
