@@KrolKaz boohoo, the multimillion dollar company has to sell armor from 10 years ago for a third of an entire game because they cant just make the game 60 dollars like they used to cause they need EVEN MORE MONEY! Despite technology making the development of games even cheaper than it was when they were actually reasonable.

The only thing more hilarious than grapple punching everything to death is to grab the skull that gives infinite ammo and turning everything to dust with the arcane sentinel beam

​@@angrykid616 The cowbell and boom skull make it possible to kill almost every single enemy in one shot with the cindershot. You shoot it below their feet at the right angle and the projectile sucks them into the ground so hard it counts as a fuckton of fall damage. (You can oneshot every brute boss like this)

The ghost is the most powerful gun and gun+vehicle combo in the Halo Infinite campaign. Don't change my mind

@In your Momsass I mean Halo does it’s own thing in my point of view in fact Zeta Halo is a planet or ring world that has other missions to capture basses and other missions unlike Destiny and Cyberpunk at least Halo Infinites story and open world feels unique I know other games does open world too.

The grappleshot is fantastically overpowered and soooooo much fun to use. You can just Spider-Man around the map laying the pain to aliens and looking for hidden objects. It’s a different kind of Halo game, but that isn’t a bad thing.

It's not bad, but it's not great - it still doesn't compare to any of the Bungie Halo games. The game mechanics are great, but the story is just another "fight the Covenant, who are a little bit more red this time, and stop them from waking up another alien race from the past" that we got in Halo CE, Halo 4, and now Infinite. The open world is totally overblown. I completed every single objective besides getting skulls within 15 hours of gameplay, on Legendary, and there is literally nothing else to do in the game. The grappleshot is a great addition to the game though, but I don't think it's as good as how it has been implemented in other games like Doom Eternal, even though you can grapple onto more objects and get more use out of it.

@@mechcommander7876 Yikes that didn’t age well lol. Infinite died almost as fast as h4/h5 did. Not sure why they decided to try changing the gameplay a 3rd time when the last 2 flopped so bad. Maybe ppl liked the arena style halo play style that kept the past games alive for decades each? Nah… def make it like cod and doom… good idea

did it though? the world is pretty bland and lifeless, and none of the "open world" missions are creative or memorable, only the combat. also most vehicles suck ass to drive on land so oof.

Like fr not a single scarab or none of the banished vehicles from wars? And spoiler Wheres the spirit of fire if they're bringing in the banished? Could've even used them to explain the infinite vehicles you can call in The grapple hook is fun though

If you think the AR is arguably the worst gun in the game... you don't know how to use the AR. It's the ultimate wingman in any situation and a boss on its own if used correctly.

Echo 216 was such a whiney baby the whole game, it got repetitive and annoying. I don't think that added human connection/element was a bad idea but they couldve written him better and made his growth from being whiney/scared all the time to more brave a LOT quicker lol

Ya let’s use the banished that only people who played halo wars will know, but get this, all the cool and powerful ones are not their or indisposed. I mean they have awesome grunts who can go up against brutes one on one but no let’s just use stock brutes and a chief that is literally close to death do to old age and sickness.

I don't see the problem. If you haven't played halo wars 1 and 2 then you're not a real halo fan anyway. Halo wars 2 kinda saved halo 5's story by tying them together

I think it's because Fernando was nothing more than a civilian engineer. He isn't used to the horrors of war so he doesn't thrive in it until he realizes that there are things bigger than his fear at the end of the game.

Some people don't like that. Takes away part of the power fantasy to humanize both Chief and Fernando.

Why?? The Open World is so boring, that every Ubi-Soft Open World Looks Like full of creativity xD

@@messortorvus32 it lacks variety sure but by no means it's same as a Ubisoft Open World, Infact it's not bloated. Side Activities are actually Optional. Rewards are satisfying. Open world isn't innovative any means but no it's not boring. The Gameplay works, the story worked. This is meant to be a life service game and a platform like destiny 2 and it started off well than most live service game starts with example: marvel's avengers. Halo Infinite by no means is a boring game. Halo infinite is sure a good game and a good start for it's live service duration.

The progression is fine now tbh. But ya the monetization is horrible

Dude, just chill and enjoy the game, without spending a penny I got a pretty decent amount of cosmetic items (and I am only level 26). And even if not, it's a fun game so just enjoy it.

Halo Infinite succeeded much like the PS4 did on launch, not by its own merits but because the competition flopped on the ground like a fish struggling to breath and dying slowly

Yea, as many problems as people had with halo 5, and those complains were justified, it was deeply disappointing for me to not see the battlestar Galactica style chase through space with cortana playing the role of the cylons. That is what they clearly set up for.and having all of that so obvioisly glossed over, like they were literally beating us over the head with "we heard you didn't like 5, so we are making none of it matter. Are you happy now." It made everything feel soper janky and hollow. Especially with how it lead to the banished being the actuall villains despite having never shown up in a main series title in an for prior and offering virually no reason why they are now fighting directly with Master Chief.

Definitely not the worst. At least this one had some proper character development unlike 5 where every character besides Buck was either a background prop or an exposition-spewing drone.
