It was time to fix my shoes, and suddenly, I met this kind gentleman. We did have a language barrier, but with the help of others in our surroundings, I could ask a few questions and get a very honest price. I ended up having my shoes fixed perfectly and giving him a huge reward for his work.
Forty-five years old and 25 years of work experience. Incredibly hard-working people of India 🇮🇳

Guy was wrong about the name "Fancy Bazar". It comes from the word "fansi" which in Hindi means "hang to death". There is an old jail at the end of the bazar where prisoners used to be hanged during the British days.
