As a Jaguar fan, I found the "no one cares" bit way funnier than I'd like to admit, The cherry on top however, was the bit about all the hands both brands have changed through the years (American, Indian etc.) And I knew a dig at the electrics would be in there somewhere. So after the long wait, I wasn't disappointed
@@Spongaybob I don't know, looking at the current lineup, I will say it is solid in my opinion. I think Jag and LR have gotten better under Tata ownership.
1. Amazing bloopers 2. The club girl reference was on par with the kia commercial 3. Did you turn blue to salute JLR being turned into an electric nothingburger like everyone else?
still daily driving my 2014 Jag F-Type, over 100k Miles, no proplems with anything except the damn door handle on the passenger side that won't completely retract anymore 😅, but my two prior cars (peugeot 307 and Daihatsu Copen) sure had way more issues with less miles. Would recommend the F-Type (prior to Jag being owned by India) 10/10.
@@Max10294 how on earth?! I mean even a Dacia would last way longer, so I am somehow inclined to believe, that either you are a liar or an outrageously horrible driver 🙈😂
Truer words have never been spoken. This vid dropped just as I am sitting in my XJ8, waiting for AAA in the middle of the night because my starter died out of nowhere.
To be fair both bmw and ford were shitty parent companies. Bmw brought in a bunch of shitty electrics and ford maybe the least reliable diesel engine on this planet. I read up on the treatment JLR received from both parent companies and it was more of an execution attempt. I mean rover didn't survive BMW and MG barely did.
When it's poor to begin with and you make small improvements than the quality keeps increasing and increasing. It still might be awful, but after the improvements it's less awful.
I love jaguar so much. Honestly top 3 favorite brands but it is a shame how many flaws they have like terrible depreciation and bad reliability. But you gotta love the classy looks and awesome driving experience
@@oceanman6327 haha spot on, they're both surprisingly cheap used, because there always is a bank breaking repair or maintenance just around the corner.
Really love this ad in particular, appreciate the experimentation and new style with the VAing (American and German voices), and love the James Bond motif at the beginning. Keep innovating!
The choreography has straight up shot through the roof. It was great before, but now it's for real outdoing real car commercials. Keep up the great work!
Why do the British like warm beer? Because Smiths make refrigerators too! (Smiths is the historic manufacturer of dashboard gauges for Land Rover, which are notoriously unreliable and prone to breaking)
Do a honest Bentley commercial "For Town or Country, and Bentley", "You don't put bumper stickers on a Bentley", “Bentley. You don’t park it, you position it.”
Love these ads💯 I’d also love to see Volvo done at some point, everything from their history of brand ownership, excessive oil consumption issues, and their hybrids always needing a high voltage component replacement lol Keep up the good work👍🏻
Personally, I pronounce the big cat from the Amazon (i.e., the thing from the Americas) "JAG war" (the American way) and villainous car make (i.e., the thing from Britain) "JAG yoo uhr" (the British way). Top Gear and the Grand Tour are a big reason why though
