Hi Em great video. I also have a Peloton Bike and thought of some extra things that could be said. 1. If you work for the NHS you get discount; this means getting a free pair of shoes, the weights and headphones free. 2. If you know someone with a Peloton bike you can get discount, definitely off clothing and I think off the bike cost originally (just make a note of their Peloton name and email). 3. Yes the monthly cost is annoying but you can set up many accounts under one payment; I and two other of my family members have our own accounts set up and only pay £40 per month. 4. you can get the app on your tv and smartphone and do other things other than cycling on it; I use my app on outdoor runs, for yoga and strength exercises. 5. I think a mat is required if you are putting the bike on a fluffy carpet to make it stable but you are right you could just buy your own cheaper mat. Hope this helps anyone considering buying!
Thank you for this! Great points! Yes a few people have asked me for my code so they basically get their shows free! That’s amazing about NHS staff! Ahh yes I’ve started doing some weights on the app too! Thank you for such a comprehensive and useful comment xxxx
This is where (for once) Australia actually works out in our favour. Most sporting events and the like, Australians have to be awake at stupid o’clock to watch but the live classes here tend to run from very early in the morning (I guess they’d be the night classes) until about 9:30am and then start again at around 5pm. It’s not often that these things work out for us, being 10-ish hours ahead of, say, the UK, but this time, it works!
