For those who don't know, the word Queencard was used in the early 2000s in Korea to describe a really popular girl who got all the attention and everyone wanted to be in her circle, that's why they pronounce it with a strong korean accent. Kingcard is the equivalent for boys :)

the "i feel you" text at the end is for us, she feels us she understands how society's standards of beauty make us feel, at the end soyeon says "I feel blue too" "I feel lonely too" "I feel you" so she say I understand you

The story is sequel of Allergy, which is Soyeon dreaming of becoming Minnie. And then she realizes that being queen is not physically, but it is a mindset ♥️

I really like it, it's very catchy, fun, silly and not meant to be taken too seriously, I can't get the "I'm a queencard" line out of my head 😭

Has tomboy vibes but different scales. I love it. It’s a hit for me. I’m just not a fan of Yuqi rap part, it could have been better with more rhymes: “look so cool like Kim kardashian and look so cute like Ariana”…it had potential to be a memorable line but sound weird 😮 Overall I love it. A solid 8,5/10

I think "I feel you" means "I understand you. I feel pretty, sexy but I also feel blue, lonely, allergy bcs of the society and the beauty standards. I understand you." As it's a sequel of Allergy, it may means I can understand you, I feel the same way as you.

I love how Gidle speaks about these topics, their music might not be for everyone but the concepts they put out are so empowering and speaks against issues we see in society especially for girls. I love how Soyeon is using her experience to inspire others that feel like they have to change themselves to fit into society’s expectations.

I read somewhere that Soyeon herself said about Queencard, "We thought we had made a lot of music that taught lessons or morals. This time we tried to add some light and fun points. Like a comedy movie, I hope people will watch it lightly and say 'its funny', but in the end, I hope it leaves a lasting impression. I hope people will watch it lightly and enjoy it. So yeah I think the lyrics were intentional to be like that lol, so pls dont take it too seriously since its meant to be fun and to hype yourself up, plus some ppl were hating that they keep twerking so obviously Soyeon made sure to include that in their comeback. Lol Queen behavior 😂❤

everyone can understand the meaning but I think it's even more meaningful to women, I litteraly cried to the ending "I feel" part, this song is our story, the story of every girl struggling in the society weither they are famous or not. We're giving popularity and beauty so much importance without realizing that it breaks each and everyone of us, and here they are, singing a bop about about it and most importantly telling us that they feel the same, we all feel the same. That couple of songs definately have a big meaning for me and I'm just so proud of them for that concept !

Personally I think “I feel you” just meant the g-idle understand how we feel, like being unconfident, being blue and feeling imperfect. So their message is trying to tell us even if we feel imperfect and we might even want to change our looks but we should always be ourselves and ignore the opinions of others

I LOVED how you didn't "get it" at the end! Ahahahahahahaha you're confused face was EVERYTHING! Ahahaha.. basically, the "mystery" is that Minnie, the girl right at the beginning walking, is in reality Soyeon (the girl who went to do the surgery). She basically did not get the surgery, and when she met Minnie in the Allergy video, she gained confidence and that was how she saw herself, as looking like Minnie, hence why she acted so confidentely. In the end, when she wakes up as usual, she remembers that after walking out on her surgery, she met Minnie and did all those cool things, which is why her social media suddenly bursts up with messages and reactions. If you watch the video again, all the scenes Minnie was in, (except the excercising scenes) is actually Soyeon, which is also why sometimes we see Minnie's lips singing but it's Soyeon's voice, and in the flashes, they are both wearing the same clothes.

@aaron.freeman this MV is amazing (for those who love semiotics lol) and are quite a few aways to interpret it: (of course there are more things to look at both MVs besides what I list below): 1 - First thing: Queencard was used in the early 2000s in Korea to describe a really popular girl similar to Queenbee in US/EU. 2 - Queencard/Queenbee is also a mentality whose pillars are self esteem and confidence. But most of the women in this world don't get it. 3 - Since the begining Soyeon is the cool one, Minnie is the sex girl, and Miyeon is the popular one (but we will only discover that with Queencard MV), BUT none of them see themselves like this, they are not really happy with themselves and are trying to become another person (we see this in Allergy MV). 4 - Bring both MVs together we basically see the old saying that "the grass is greener on the other side" so we have Soyeon trying to be Minnie because she is pretty/sexy/hot, while Minnie wants to be Soyeon cause she is really cool, and we have Miyeon who wants to be sexy like Minnie and pretty/cool like Soyeon ('cause in Queencard and Allergy MVs shows that her ex have interest both in Minnie and Soyeon at the parties). 5 - On the side we have Yuqi/Shua like Miyeon's minnions and once they saw Soyeon they want to be more like her instead be like Miyeon. 6 - Finally we have Soyeon who at the end remembers like she is cool like hell and decided to be herself. And is finally comfortable in her own skin (like the last verse of the song: "A girl wearing whatever", "A girl who's thin or thick", "A girl full of confidence"). 7 - About the message at the end (the "I feel_______" part) is a message to remember women (and in fact any person no matter no matter the gender) about that we should love ourselves but there are days that we don't feel so great (blue/lonelly) and it ok, its normal. The "I feel you" can be interpreted in many ways and will hit different for each person: for me means the girls, even tho they are celebrities/artist, they understand us cause they also feel the same - the same pressure, the same insecurities, the same feelings. We can debate both MV for years to come cause it has a lot of critics about beauty standars, women empowerment, social media, influencers etc.

I guess the message is that if you feel like a queen then you are a queen. And soyeon in this video is dreaming about her being all the other girls and realises that the key is not in how you look but how you feel about yourself. If you are confident as minnie then you are as beautiful as her. And also, in my opinion, allergy and queencard together are meant to show that we all sometimes feel less confident, we all have concerns, but at the end we need to overcome it and return to our "queen" state idk. And i think the ending scene shows that previously she didn't notice (or it wasn't enough for her) all the popularity she had, but now when she's confident she can see that people around her love and appreciate her and she realises that her looks do not determine who she is.

I really love this song because it's very fun. Some lyrics are for comedy purposes but those also imply being a queen. The lyrics are my favorite part of the song cuz it speaks to us that you can be a queen by loving and accepting yourself and not by copying someone.

yes i think the same they wanted to be someone else in the other song and they were sad/ alone but in this MV they just chose to be themselves so they are happy and popular

Uppp. like basically Soyeon wanted to be Minnie. which is i think the kwinka(queencard) in the mv. there was a show interview where they were asked who the kwinka is, and they all pointed minnie so i think that confirms it. soooo, thats why at the first part where she walked out of the surgery, minnie came out. then at the party before the surgery, she was so confident in herself and she imagined herself as minnie. in the surgery, she had a realization that all she needed is confidence and not to look like someone else. the messages at the last part, gave her confirmation that she is beautiful by being herself.

I watched a video about Soyeon, where it was said that at the beginning of her journey she was called scary, ugly, manly.. And she answered "Yes, I know.." And partly these two clips are about her

Now seeing her reaction, I see a possible "plot twist", because after the surgery she receives several messages, I believe that she was always a famous girl, but even with all that, she still felt insecure and kept an irrational comparison with her friends, which led her to almost have the surgery, until she really accepted herself and saw how well she was seen.
