People who know kpop from only the last couple of years don't know how huge Snsd was. And yes, the cute concept ruled everything in a period with variations of a stronger one like Run devil run. The thing is that snsd in general were like the sisters of the nation so that's why the cute concept was so strong. But they did a lot more than that.
Can't forget Cabi song with 2pm and SEOUL song with SuJu even though they were promo songs, but then again you've got Visual Dreams and Chocolate Love there too. All GOLD classics.
This cute song gave SNSD their first Disk Daesang at the Golden Disc Awards. The first and only girl group that won the Disk Daesang. It was a huge hit back in 2010. Also, if I'm not mistaken I think this was their last attempt doing a cute concept.

Run Devil Run is connected to Oh's MV. Theres a storyline version of Oh MV. But as I remember,Aaron already reacted to RDR. The Oh-RDR comeback showed SNSD's duality as they released both cute and mature concepts. The Oh album also started the Photocards inclusions in Kpop albums. :)
I'm not even ashamed to say it, this is my favorite SNSD song. Hoot is a close second, it's definitely worth checking out. For me, Jessica and Sunny ruled this era of Girls' Generation, but at the same time, this whole comeback is so iconic that it's burned into my brain. lol

When this song was released after Genie, I was disappointed because they came back with a cute concept once again. But the fan chants during Oh! performances are iconic. The live performances were fun to watch, I looked forward to their stage outfits as well.
Same. I honestly preferred Genie over Gee, so when they came back to cute... like THIS cute, I wasn't too happy. But when the teaser of RDR went out, I was so excited.

Run Devil Run mv should be the next it's their opposite from Oh! Their dark side at the end of this mv, is a totally different version and the counterpart of this MV, aside from the MV, there's a mini story of it. SONES those times are full of excitement.
